We hadn't needed a mortgage in years but a very nice job offer for my wife from Mizzou brought us to Columbia. We had a new home built, and in the process of using the builder's in-house financing company, we finally decided that they weren't interested in treating us as customers. So we asked some local real estate professionals for local mortgage recommendations, and Bell Bank and Ryan Campbell were mentioned. Long story short, Ryan and Erin bent over backwards to accommodate us. Ryan was easy to talk to and didn't try to snow us with confusing industry jargon that the other guy used constantly. Most of the necessary documents were handled online, and we pre-signed several of the closing docs that way. Erin kept us informed of progress along the way and sincerely had our best interests at heart. As a result, our closing was smooth as silk.
