Owners fired the long time manager and changed the pricing without telling customers. So now you’ll pay a diagnostic fee on top of the hourly rate. So done with these people and moved on to a shop that doesn’t rip you off .

Awesome repair shop! I was 250 miles into my 400 mile trip. My low coolant light came on and the temp was ticking up. They took care of me immediately. Diagnosed and repaired the issue and had me back on the road in less than an hour. Highly recommend!!!

College student beware! Our college student was referred to this shop. We were told that the vehicle needed $1200 more in repairs than was necessary. Vehicle had overheated and needed a thermostat replaced, but they also said the valve cover gasket needed to be replaced, as well. After I questioned about the valve cover gasket, they rebuked and no only the thermostat was truly needed. We had our local repair shop check out the vehicle--there was and is no reason to replace the valve cover gasket!! Very shady business practices!! You should be ashamed of yourselves trying to take advantage of College kids. If I could give zero stars, I would have.

The people are kind, and treated other customers well. I had taken my car to multiple shops to fix shaking, they were the first to fix it.
I initially had an issue, but they called me and resolved it without my making them.

Finding a good mechanic is a challenge, but Automotive Specialist gained a new loyal customer this week. Long story short, I had a brake job done a few months ago here, and then three months later something on it failed and I was in need of a new brake job. Called them back up, they towed it from the place I had it and fixed it for me, all under warranty from the first job. They called and communicated throughout the entire process, were so friendly, and up front about helping me out. I'll be recommending them to anyone who is looking.
Amazing customer service. Lived in Columbia for 30 years and this is by far the best experience I've had with an auto repair shop.

Had an issue with my car mis firing, had replaced a coil on cylinder 5, turns out the new part was faulty. They got it in same day did a compression test everything was good tested injectors, everything was fine there, found the faulty coil I had just replaced got it fixed in about 2 hours and at a very responsible price, they gained a life long customer. Such an amazing business.

Do not go here. My car has been having issues starting for awhile and they initially thought it was an issue with the battery. Turns out it was actually a problem with condensation getting inside the cabin. They suggested replacing the windshield and circuit board which was costly and expensive. Ultimately that still didn't stop condensation from getting inside the car and causing the issue to rear its head again. We told them to fix it and they just put a couple of moisture absorbers inside the vehicle and called it a day. As of this review the problem still persists and I'm waiting for my local dealer to address the issue.

Estimate low, rises w 'diagnostic'
fees and surcharge for non cash
payment, they get surly if u complain, go to dealer they cost less and know better repairs. Grandpa Ken good man, not this shop.

Upon check in I was told the earliest appointment would be on the following Monday. After understanding my issue they pulled my van in on the spot, fixed my simple issue and got me on the road in less than 30 minutes. Thanks for taking the time to listen and think critically. They understood the problem was a quick fix and made my day much easier. Thanks!
