“As a business owner I'm used to poor service in banking. I am blown away by the small town feel of this bank. I'm no Saint to get along with, but this group goes above and beyond... Latest example... I deposited a 5 figure check that my past banks would have placed a ridiculous HOLD on... Not this bank. They called the other bank, verified the funds, and I had access to the full amount of my money 24hrs later. THAT'S HUGE for a small business like me.I 100% recommend this bank and I never do that.”

“I have been banking in Peculiar since the bank was in the old building on West Broadway. The bank on C Hwy. is nice and until recently banking at that location was a very pleasant experience. I used to say that walking into UMB Peculiar was like walking into the Cheers Bar where everyone knows your name. Most everyone was just great and they treated you like family. Things have started to change recently (~2019). There has been quite a bit of staff turnover and a lot of the friendly faces are gone (it is going to be crushing when Sandy and Chris retire). It will be a different bank. Recently UMB Peculiar installed a new drive-thru video system. I am sure that it makes perfect business sense to eliminate an actual human at the drive-thru, and the new bank-by-video system probably solves staffing problems (less staff needed), but it is a step away from the personal touch that I and many others always enjoyed at this bank. I suppose I will get used to the new way of doing things at UMB Peculiar but I will always miss the way it was.”

“I love Arvest! I had a million issues at my old bank, and Arvest has solved all of them. I finally get ALL. of my money in my deposits, and the staff at EVERY location (not just the Belton one) is extremely helpful and nice. I have never had a single issue here with anything. In fact, they called me once a week for about 2-3 weeks (I think) after I first opened my account to make sure I wasn’t having any problems. I highly recommend banking here!”

“I went in 10 minutes before close and made a withdrawal to fill a cash register - all different bills, different quantities, paper and coins. I was blown away with the professionalism and speed. They could charge money for the impressive display of talent that I witnessed while the teller counted up the money. I was heading back to my car 5 minutes before close. Count me as impressed.”

“This branch is easily one of my favorites! Jake was incredible to work with, and his customer service is truly unmatched- I mean, seriously.. he sat on the phone, on hold, with Apple to help me figure out a Face ID issue I was having with the banking app. That is on another level!! Being met with such kindness and patience (especially on a Saturday morning) was so refreshing! The manager, Brad, was also incredibly kind and helped answer any of our questions with a smile on his face! Great time all around!”
