5 stars. My wife, Emma, had an excellent haircut at Strands with Jackie. Jackie listened carefully to Emma’s goals, offered clear suggestions, and created soft, face-framing layers that work beautifully with her natural texture. The cut is precise, balanced, and easy to style at home thanks to Jackie’s product and maintenance tips. The salon was clean, on time, and welcoming (they were even kind to our small pup). Highly recommend Jackie and Strands.

Salons that offer Keratin treatments are hard to come by in St. Louis. Strands was one of the few salons that offered what I was looking for. Charles went above and beyond to make my experience smooth and successful. He met with me beforehand to understand what I was looking for and make sure we chose the right treatment for my difficult hair. When it got closer to the date of the appointment, he followed up and gave me several other options after doing more research on his own time. I can’t recommend this salon enough and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I saw Morgan for a relaxing signature facial, and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond by using very nice products, and making the experience comfortable and relaxing. Her exceptional work led me to rebook with her and I had to share my experience! I strongly recommend a visit with her.

Morgan gave me SUCH an awesome facial!!! It was so relaxing and really brought me a lot of peace. I have four small children at home as it is just what I needed. She also gave me a wealth of knowledge-we talked about my skin and “busy mom options” She was able to recommend products and WHY they are important. She was amazing at massaging my tight shoulders and who knew a hand massage was a thing I needed!!! Ahhh definitely going back again :)

PSYCHOLOGICALLY TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE WITH KEVIN. I called several hours before my appointment to let them know a loved one of my passed away and was no longer able to make the appointment because I would now have to assist my grieving loved ones get the DECEASED BODY out of the home that night. Kevin was absolutely disgusting to me on the phone and refused to remove the full charge on the hair appointment. He’s a decent stylist, but I’d be worried about who he is as a person if that’s the response he has to grief and mourning. I’ve never been so disturbed by someone’s greed and will never be returning to this salon based on my experience with Kevin

Went upon reading great reviews. But the haircut I got was not at all what I asked for. In the salon he cut my hair quickly and gave curls so I couldn't tell. But once I washed my hair the next day, I realized there were no frame facing layers which I had asked for very specifically. Just a trim for $100. Worst experience.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have found Strands! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Charles has been styling my hair for the past few months, and he consistently does an exceptional job. His expertise and knowledge about all things hair are truly impressive. I always leave feeling confident and satisfied with his work. Highly recommended!😊

I had a great hair appointment with Charles. He listened to my concerns and respected my hair journey. Gave me a much needed trim while maintaining length. Talked to me about the science behind certain products and overall he was very skilled and friendly. 100% recommend.

I have been going to the Strands salon on DeMun for more than twenty years. I can say all sorts of nice things about the friendliness of the staff and the great location (next to coffee, restaurants and ice cream). The bottom line though is that my hair looks great. After searching for ten years I found the stylists at Strands and I've never looked further.

I'm normally pretty particular about who cuts my hair, but I gave Kevin a chance, and he definitely came through. He is a true professional, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stylist.

Travel nurse who was looking for an amazing hairstylist and boy did I find one! Charles is the best!!!!!! He fixed my color and I even let him cut my naturally curly hair :) I’m beyond happy with the results!! Can’t wait to come back 😍

Great salon. Lisa is my stylist and she always runs on time and always does a great job cutting my hair. I have followed her three times now. Great selection of high-end products too.
