“Deceptive business practice”
Today, I contacted Lucy Nails and Spa to inquire about manicure and pedicure services for my seven-year-old daughter. The representative quoted me $18 for a manicure and $20 for a pedicure, repeatedly asking if we could come in immediately. I specifically asked about the cost of gel polish, as most spas offer it for children due to the tendency of regular polish to chip quickly, necessitating frequent touch-ups by the technician. She assured me the total would be $38. I confirmed this amount with her multiple times, and she consistently reiterated it, while persistently urging us to come in right away.
After my daughter received her manicure and pedicure, along with my own pedicure, the staff attempted to charge me an exorbitant $40 for gel polish on both hands and feet. She then claimed it was $20 per area, an outrageous price for a child's service. The total bill came to $145, which she then "discounted" to $113 for a 7-year-old child. She flatly denied ever quoting me the $38 total.
I begrudgingly paid for the service but will never patronize this establishment again. Having taken my daughters to various spas in St. Louis and other cities, and as a parent of seven daughters, I have never paid more than $55 for a child's manicure and pedicure. This experience was an egregious display of unethical business practices, exploiting parents with deceptive pricing. For adult services, I typically pay between $80 and $120 for a manicure and pedicure. The manner in which they manipulated the pricing to overcharge me is inexcusable. I immediately filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly advise against doing business with this company.

If you’re interested in a basic mani/pedi this is the place for you. Staff are not skilled with acrylic or overlays. I’ve tried a few times at the location to get a decent full set or fill-in but they alway shaped nails poorly. Additionally, prices are overpriced and they don’t sanitize the pedicure bowls. I asked one of the staff members if she sanitized the bowls and she got an attitude with me. I think I’m done with Lucy Lee nail salon.

Confirmed my appointment for 6pm at 11am. At 5:30pm I got a text saying my appointment had been cancelled as they were busy at the time.
Would’ve understood a wait, but what’s the point of an appointment time if they don’t book me a chair and can just cancel it?

While the staff was friendly it was Nothing spectacular. They don’t have liners in their bowl, don’t sanitize anything. The lady ripped my skin off my toe, and when she realized it was starting to bleed, apologized. The whole Pedicure was very rushed as she slapped on the lotion to quickly rub my legs. Didnt offer anything to drink yet had drinks in the fridge right in the front.

I paid $65 for a dip manicure (no design) that chipped in less than one week. Lucy was in a rush even though I had made an appointment, and the quality of work showed. Went there twice, will not be returning. The gel pedicure was great, however, the water was way too hot, and I like hot water. Too expensive for the subpar quality of work.

This is the place I go to thank my feet for every step they’ve taken me. A sanctuary to relieve stress and sit in a comfortable massage chair. Herbal foot reflexology honors your knees to your toes for holding your body upright. I am so grateful for Lucy Lee.

Amazing place and staff! Hannah, Linda, and all the techs are awesome. So attentive, caring, and friendly. They were so kind and accommodating when I brought my baby along for my dip manicure. The service was great!

I was able to get a last minute mani pedi and the service was very good. The Dazzle polish choices were a bit limited, but they did a great job with my nails and they were very kind.
