I called so many places to try to get my cat shaved and was so glad I went with this place. With the help of calming pills suggested by the vet, our senior kitty was able to be groomed without the need for sedation. The groom itself looked so much better than I had hoped for, and the price was very affordable. They worked with our kitty and carefully observed his temperament to minimize his stress during the groom.

One of the front desk ladies is a bully. Very demeaning to human beings and pets. I will not be returning because she made me so uncomfortable. The niceties of the office manager is unknown to be genuine, people can put up a good farce, as shown by the bully that says she's been employed at this institution for 18yrs. Thinking on my situation of the last 48hrs, it's probably best to avoid going back here. They seem untrustworthy at the end of the day. Keep your pets safe folks, the front lines are a mirror of the management/doctors that have your pets behind closed doors.

Best vet ever. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Dr. Wayne Boilet is highly experienced and provides excellent care. Our dogs love him and I always feel confident with his recommendations and treatment plan.

My review will not do this justice but I’ll try. My late lab Bailey was a lifelong customer for various services (boarding, play time, grooming, veterinary) and loved every minute. I still have a card with her paw print with some very special sentiments from The Vet Group. Fast forward 3 years to our new puppy, we had our first vet visit and had the same vet tech who mentioned how fond she was of Bailey. On the way out, playtime had to meet him as well. I know he’ll be in great hands here and we’ll be lifelong customers. I highly recommend to all my friends & family. I just can’t say enough!

Dr Harris and Niki worked my dog into their busy schedules when she was sick. They listened to all my concerns and did not seem rushed despite it being the end of a busy day for them. Over the years the’ve made the effort to get to know my dog. Their caring compassion and expertise give me the confidence that my dog is getting the best possible care.

Every visit when Dr. Boillot is the attending doctor, I am reminded why we have our dogs go to the Veterinary Group of Chesterfield in the first place. There is no doctor more thorough than he is. He never makes you feel rushed, he never makes you feel like you are asking a dumb question, and he explains everything with such clarity, yet he is never condescending or talks down to you. You also know he genuinely cares about your pet. He understands the important relationship between the pet owner and the doctor. We are a team and the interest of the pet is number one. We can't say enough good things.
Another review since our last visit.
Dr. Boilott was not available for a well visit for my two dogs so I saw a different doctor, Dr. Bell and it was a night and day experience. He charged us normal price for yearly exam and he spent about five minutes on the actual exam. I asked him if he was going to go over the dogs and actually look over them with me and he said, “no, he did it outside of the room when he took the dogs for heart worm tests.” Not acceptable. Had Dr. Boilott been the attending physician, he would’ve gone over every part of the dog, talked about everything, taking his time because he genuinely cares about all the animals that come through the door. And he wants to make sure that all the owners can take good care of their dogs because they’ve been well informed.
And then we just saw Dr. Boilott yesterday to examine a new puppy. Again, completely thorough, he talked about ways to help our other dog adjust to the new puppy. He caught an issue with the puppy’s teeth that we’re going to keep an eye on. He knows what he’s doing. He is also an expert in repro. My friend was willing to travel two hours several times a week to help her dog undergo a side by side artificial insemination with my dog. He is known by many outside of our city.

The vet here was a really rude snarky man. He treated us terrible.. overcharged us. I would never trust the vet there with our dog

Dr. Bayer and her assistant were a great team. I felt that both both of them were concerned about the health of my cat and made him feel safe. It was a great experience.

I have had the good fortune to have Dr. Bell since my Maltese was 10 weeks old, and she will soon be 12 years old. Dr Bell is so detailed in my pet's health physicals. And Veterinary Group is always quick to respond whenever I have a question or an issue. I highly recommend VCG and Dr. Bell.

I was referred to VGC by our vet when our frenchie had an unplanned pregnancy. From the 1st phone call I knew we were going to the right place. They were with us every step of the way and answered all my questions. I was very relieved when she went into labor and they preformed her c-section. We were so impressed with the entire staff that we decided it is worth the drive to make them our primary vet from here on out. You can't go wrong by bringing your fur babies here.Thank you VGC for going above and beyond for us. Moki and her babies are happy and healthy!
