Whenever I shop online and the delivery service goes through the USPS in Chesterfield, problems often arise. Either there's a big hole in the package, but everything inside is still there, or they mysteriously say they can't find your address, even though you've been using the same address all along. When I call to inquire about the situation, the attitude of the person I speak with is extremely rude. I don't like to make trouble for others or leave negative reviews without reason. But I have indeed not received satisfactory service.

See some bad posts.. I’ve been shipping packages since 2004. Lots of Post offices east St. Louis. The one on Watson HAS NOT had handles on their big package drop, and takes 72 hours just to get the initial arrival scan! Atleast this location can get their arrivals scans correct!

I have a PO BOX at this facility and have had multiple checks stolen and/or lost. I have had to report to fraud department at the bank and get police reports. I have talked to the manager about this ongoing problem and it is still happening as of Jan. 2025. Something not right at this location.

What a crazy thing to do! My daughter was on a business trip and I was sick in the hospital, but they took away all the mail and didn't even leave a notice on the door.

This USPS location operates the drop off box by Baxter and Clarkson near Total Wine And More. They rarely get the mail from that box and it is jammed more often than not.

I requested Certified mail. The man helping me tried to talk me out of Certified for some reason, but I said I needed it. I found out later that he chose to not give me Certified when I specifically asked for it. A family member informed me that Certified mail comes with a green and white receipt and the mail should've had a green and white mail sticker put on it. I didn't have either of these. Turns out the man at the desk just did Signature Confirmation. This is not the same as Certified.
I am frustrated with this USPS branch because my needs for reliability and trust were not met. I was not given the security and confidence that my mail legally required.
I do not recommend anyone to use this branch if you seek mutual respect and compassion from its employees.

For 13 years, I have used the Town & Country Post Office actively, often asking to hold mail when on trips, without a single failure. In my experience throughout that time, the staff has been responsive, pleasant, and courteous. Only once in that time have I had the mail another address come here, and only once has a letter to me been sent to another address. So, I'm puzzled at serious negative experiences with this post office.

I have moved out of town and country 3 years ago but I still make the drive to this USPS location because of the outstanding service they provide. The staff is friendly and incredibly efficient.

Excellent speed with delivering a package! I dropped it off yesterday, around 25hrs ago, and the person I sent it to in Thebes, IL just let me know that she received it today. Very pleased with the speed and quick service by the helpful gentleman at the counter. Will be using this branch again (:
