UPDATE the pool is open and it looks like this see pics? DO NOT MOVE HERE. RUN. This company is terrible. Once they lock you in and they got you all of the problems and lack of care will begin. High crime here. Your car will it get broken into nightly. You can’t make a mistake because someone will be in your car. It’s happened to me more than once. It may even get stolen. I’ve had a car stolen and so have a few other residents. The Avalon will not notify you of any of things like this here so that you can be aware and stay safe. It’s happened so much to me and my neighbors I felt as if I had to post this. The residents have begged for them to get security cameras as this is a reoccurring problem. They don’t care and refuse to do so. Safety is not a priority. The turnover rate for the Maintenance Man is unbelievable, you basically won’t have one. They don’t take care of their staff therefore people won’t stay. It’s a mess here. You might think it’s neat that they have a pool, well it won’t be open. It’s the holiday weekend and it’s not open, It’s never open when it’s supposed to be. They didn’t even drain water from last year. It’s sitting there with stagnant water as I type this. When they finally do open it good luck using it as it will be locked more than it will be unlocked. If you enjoy peace and quiet not the place for you. they allow more people than allowed on the occupancy. At one point there was 6 people living in a two bedroom unit. When you complain they will tell you that’s not accurate but when you live next to the people you know what’s accurate and not. I like Ashley the office manager. She really does try however, her hands are tied and can’t do anything to fix these problems.

I love living at the Avalon! It’s quiet, well kept , staff is friendly. The property manager, Ashely, is absolutely amazing. She is always smiling and will find a solution to any problem. The maintenance man is awesome as well! Love it here !

All maintenance work has been performed in a timely fashion; the work has been done correctly. I'm well pleased. One maintenance worker was honest enough to say that while he doesn't know everything, he will work to figure out the problem. Truth, in my opinion, is always admirable. Moreover, I'm happy to report to you that the end result turned out just fine. Getting the dishwasher was a process. We had to go through troubleshooting prior to getting a new unit. However, I was understanding of the process because no one wants to spend money that they dont have to if they can cut a corner. I get it! I watch every dime darn near that I spend. Therefore, I would be a hypocrite to expect someone else not to do the same.All in all, my husband and I have great appreciation and respect for all members of the maintenance team at the Avalon Apartment Complex.I will provide a more detailed review for you in another post of my experience(s) over these past 3 in a half years as a resident in this complex. I have wrote other posts on other sites, as well as this one, under the name Candice Wallace as well as the name FancyLee Wallace. Legally, my name is FancyLee Wallace. I was sent a link via text mesaage to provide a review on the services provided to me by the maintenance crew in regards to the install of my new dishwasher. Therefore, this post is focused ONLY on the install of the dishwasher.Thank you.FancyLee W.Update: 08/15/2023 12:09a.m.Viewers, all residents within the Avalon apartment complex can NEVER speak to or have communication with the owner of the property. Im not sure as to who is responding to resident reviews. However, please do not be deceived and believe that you will ever be able to communicate openly with anyone from HR or in ownership. It simply doesnt happen. Now, you may be referred to another apartment complex manager of a sister complex. But, you will never be granted communication of any kind with anyone in an ownership position. I'm simply stating this because I want you to know that you will be dealt with, with a hands off approach. Power is the name of the game. Just be aware. Residents aren't given any phone numbers or email addresses to communicate with ownership AT ALL. As long as you are okay with communicating with office staff of the Avalon or of another sister apartment complex, everything will be fine. I just want you to be aware of how things go if you intend to make the Avalon your home........My posts are not intended to deceive anyone.

We lived at the Avalon for just over 3 years. For our first home, it was pretty good and had a great location for us. It had changed management multiple times which made getting in contact with someone difficult at times. Maintenance also changed many times in the 3 years we were there which was very difficult to work with and we regularly had to have maintenance come for things that had been addressed in the past. While we were there the environment was quiet and we had nice neighbors. If good management was present we had no issues, but in the 3 years we were there it did go downhill, especially towards the end of our stay (2022).

This is our first time renting an apartment. And since the beginning Chelsie was an amazing helper. She gave us a tour and showed us all the benefits of the apartment, she also helped us with all the issues we had and kept a great communication during the process with us. She sent maintenance to help us fix some issues. The maintenance guy was also very helpful and nice. He asked us if we needed help with anything else and stayed until he fixed everything we didn’t like. These apartments have a great team and we are excited to start here! Plus it is in an amazing location, everything is so close!

My husband and I have been living at the Avalon apartments now for only one week. So far, the area is beautiful, quite, and easy to feel right at home with safety. However our experience at first hand was absolutely nothing but terrible. We had not a lot of guidance being first time apartment owners, completely new to renting, and the area. My husband and I were in dire need of a quick and easy move. We had contacted them as one of our first picks. We actually came into the office that following day and had asked to start the process of moving in. They had already more than a few open and prepared rooms available. However, the manger on site was completely useless. She gave us no in-site to the rooms no care in our state of rush, then decided to quit without letting us know. We were in contact with her about their “computer issues.” We came to the building the next day with new management Chelsea. A very outgoing bubbly and unique personality, easy to talk with great communication skills. She was able with some guidance, to help to move, in under some of the most staining full difficulties into our new apartment. We appreciate all of her help it was worth the struggle from the beginning!
