Stop immediately and shop elsewhere!!
Under previous ownership, Signature Bridal was one of the best bridal shops in town and I had a flawless experience for my 2021 wedding. Because of that, I recommended my best friend as well as my little sister to check them out. WHAT A REGRET!! My friends dress was delayed until weeks before her wedding and arrived in the wrong size, and my sister has yet to receive a refund for her deposit on a Stella York dress that will not arrive due to termination of partnership after being lied to for months that ‘it was on its way’. Under this new ownership, Signature Bridal’s operations have become a fraudulent shell game. The owner is selling dresses she is not authorized to, taking people’s money, and lying. THIS. IS. FRAUD!! Shame on the owner and shame on the employees who are allowing this to occur. What a shame to see the deterioration of what was once such an incredible establishment!

They ordered my dress in April. Said that it was paid for and they were waiting for the designer to ship it. I reached out to the designer, they claim the dress is ready but has not yet been paid for.

My experience at Signature Bridal was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the owner, Megan. Initially, I was excited about my dress and the service, but things quickly deteriorated.
Megan assured me multiple times that my dress had been paid for and was on its way. However, I later discovered that this was a lie. I had to contact the designer directly to find out the truth because Megan didn’t inform me that my wedding dress would never come. To make matters worse, she provided me with a fake screenshot showing payment, which she had edited in Microsoft Paint. The designer confirmed that no payment had been made, leaving me feeling misled and stressed during my wedding planning.
While the boutique has a decent selection, the dishonesty and lack of transparency from Megan completely overshadowed my experience. I cannot recommend Signature Bridal, as trust is crucial when making such an important purchase.

Shady business. Sister in law ordered a dress after this business was removed as an authorized Stella York dealer yet they took her order and $$? Wasted and lost time due to their shady practices. Save yourself a huge headache and shop elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
I had an appointment with Signature Bridal in September. I did read reviews prior to my appointment and even though they were mixed I still went to the appointment. It was a great experience and I said yes to a Stella York dress. I was told the dress would come in around January or February which was fine as my wedding isn’t until March 2026. Signature made a statement on Oct 25th that they have cut ties with Stella York and Essense of Australia. From what I’ve learned Stella York hasn’t done business with Signature since June. Signature is selling brides these dresses, taking their money and not ordering anything. Even after this situation has blown up, they are still doing this. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, ITS ALL A SCAM!

DO NOT BUY FROM SIGNATURE BRIDAL.
I was a bridesmaid In a wedding this year in which the bride’s dress was purchased from here- the bride purchased her dress nearly a year before the wedding, paying in full for the dress and for for timely delivery. However, as months passed, excitement turned to concern due to troubling communications from the store.
Miscommunication and Delays
Despite repeated reassurances that the dress would arrive on multiple occasions, delays ensued. The boutique claimed a DHL truck carrying her gown had been in an accident, a story later debunked by DHL, raising doubts about the shop's credibility.
Long Journeys with No Results
The bride and her family made multiple two-hour trips to the shop, only to face more setbacks and disappointment as the delivery timeline continued to unravel.
A Last-Minute Delivery
Ultimately, the bride received her dress just one week before the wedding, forcing her to scramble for alterations and adding unnecessary stress. Concerns arose about the shop's professionalism and whether the dress had been ordered on time.
A Pattern of Distress
This experience appears to be part of a troubling pattern at Signature Bridal, with other brides reporting similar frustrations.

** Warning Do Not Shop Here! ** If you ordered a dress from the designer Stella York Please Read!
"I said yes to the dress on July 27, 2024. I am getting married on April 26,2025. At the time of purchase, I was informed that my dress would arrive in October. When October came, I didn't hear from Signature Bridal. I called the store but received no answer. I then texted them, to their response they informed me that the arrival would be delayed until late November or early December.
A few days later I read recent reviews on google that dresses from signature were being delayed for other brides or they were not receiving them at all. As any bride would do, I panicked and went to the store to request dress name, number, and designer. I then reached out to Stella York to request an estimated time of arrival for my dress. I received a response from the designer that my dress was not ordered or paid for from signature. They informed me that they were no longer working with signature bridal as of June 2024. Signature allowed brides to order dresses from a designer who was no longer working with them. If you have ordered a dress from this design after June of this year, please contact Stella York directly. They were very helpful in assisting me, and they helped me find my dress, got it officially ordered, and I got back on track. I would like to think the Ultimate Bride for understanding and helping me through this difficult time.

I purchased my wedding dress from Signature Bridal on May 18th. I originally was told my dress would be in by the end of July. In the middle of August I called to confirm I could expect the arrival of my dress soon. When I called I was told I needed to speak to the manager who “handled these situations.” At the time I didn’t think much of it and was told my dress would be in by the end of Sept. This week (October 21), I was encouraged by my wedding planner to reach out to the designer of the dress directly. The designer quickly responded and told me Signature Bridal did not pay them and they do not do business with Signature Bridal anymore. To my knowledge this designer stopped doing business with Signature Bridal in June. They are knowingly taking orders and collecting money from brides who they cannot provide dresses for and committing fraud. Do NOT buy a dress from them!

Signature Bridal has somehow gotten some of their 1 star reviews deleted from this page! I know people who have left reviews of their experiences that are no longer available to read. ALSO!! So many people have had horrible experiences with communication and endless lies from the owner. These poor brides are having to deal with so much stress when buying their wedding dress is supposed to be such a fun and exciting experience. Countless brides are having to contact the designers directly, dispute charges for dresses they have paid for, and go to different bridal shops to get the dress they loved. Search signature bridal on facebook and on wedding groups to read so many bad experiences in case this review also gets deleted. Shame on you signature bridal! Shame.

I purchased my wedding dress from Signature Bridal in September 2023 for my wedding in September 2024 was told it would take 4-6 months for my dress to come in. It didn’t come in until May 25, 2024 and it was the WRONG SIZE. They blamed this discrepancy on a consultant that measured me and no longer worked there. But the correct size was measured, it was their error of ordering the size incorrectly. The store manager, Megan, told me they could get the correct size in 2 weeks on 6/8…I asked how this was possible when it took 8 months to come in originally. She said they could pull it off the stock saved for situations like this. 2 weeks goes by and I don’t receive any communications. The store stopped answering my phone calls and messages. I had to call the designer myself but they were also not able to get in contact with the store and were not able to share information as they are under contract with the store. I was finally told it had shipped and would arrive the following week, but they couldn’t share tracking information…Another week goes by, and the dress is not here. I finally spoke to a totally different consultant that told me my dress had been stuck in quality control for weeks due to a strap issue. It had never actually shipped and I was left in the dark for weeks! I requested all documentation on my dress and was lied to. My dress had not been shipped on the date I was told, in fact, the original delivery date was 6/28 NOT 6/8 like I was told. Had the store been upfront and transparent from the beginning, I would not have had to call for weeks and could have been saved all of this unnecessary stress 2 months before my big day! They were passing blame to anyone they could rather than accepting responsibility and taking care of their faults. Signature Bridal made what should have been a fun and exciting experience a horrible one. The only good thing I have to say about this shop is one of their seamstress, Isabel, was amazing for my alterations. I would not recommend purchasing your dress from Signature to anyone!

I have been besides two girls in the last eight months as they worked with Signature Bridal for their wedding dresses. While the atmosphere and customer service was great on the days we went to pick their dresses, the aftermath was anything but that.
Early this year, my friend received the wrong dress, then the replacement was ripped or cut, and the third dress was rush ordered to only then be butchered at a high price by a seamstress they recommended after weeks of multiple appointments with subpar or little work done until the day before she moved states. The customer service received while trying to get the correct dress in without issues was so much added stress when honesty and communication could have went a long way. I understand the alterations done were not Signature Bridal’s fault - however, the sheer amount spent should be reason enough to recommend quality seamstresses.
We returned with my sister back in early May. She picked out and paid for her dress with the promise it will be here in September. September came and went with no dress. When calling to find any information, you will get a voice recording asking you to “text for a faster response” which speaks volumes about the customer service provided! After three weeks of calling and texting, we finally received a response last Friday that my sister’s dress will be here by today, Thursday Oct. 24.
On Saturday, we stopped by the store while in the area to see if we could at least get a tracking number or find out why it was delayed so long. Although the woman at the desk has had ten years of experience in the industry, she lacked professionalism and training. The training not being her fault as she has only been there for a month - however, I do believe that at least one person in store should be available to work with customers fully if someone else is out. We stood in the entry for about a half hour as we waited for her boss and Signature Bridal owner, Megan, to respond to her text. Eventually, another woman came forward, but was unable to help us as she also lacked training as she only works one day a week. Again, lack of training is by no means her fault. A supervisor.. a manager.. a shop owner should have people trained and in place to take on any given day.
The third woman to help us was my sister’s consultant from the day we picked her dress out. She was able to help us to the best of her ability. She let us know that they don’t have a tracking number and began to schedule us to meet with their seamstress - to which I immediately declined because it was the previously recommended seamstress who butchered our friend’s dress. We changed our seamstress to the one we met in person in May. She also informed us that Signature Bridal has “never missed a wedding date”. This should have been comforting, but when you are less than 60 days out from a wedding and you need alterations done, it was not.
Come Monday, my sister was told the dress would be here Tuesday. Come Tuesday, we had no dress - back to Thursday’s delivery. Later Tuesday, the seamstress we met in May reached out to my sister urging her to contact the dress maker, Stella York, directly. We emailed Stella York Tuesday evening. Wednesday morning we were made aware that Signature Bridal ordered the dress, but never paid the invoice. My sister’s dress is made and awaiting payment in Kansas City. It has been three hours away for weeks. It was never on the way.
Stella York sent my sister to an authorized retailer, The Ultimate Bride in St. Louis, for a new purchase. The woman who helped her and her parents was incredibly understanding and helpful and the dress has been repurchased and ordered. Through whispers, researching, and scouring recent reviews, we have come to the understanding that vendors are cutting Signature Bridal off due to unpaid debt and that my sister is not alone. While Signature Bridal has yet to “miss a wedding date”, I am hoping no 2024 bride will be the first!

Do not shop here! This store consistently lies and collects money but never orders the dress! I just learned Stella York no longer works with them but they are still allowing brides to buy the dresses and collect their money….. with zero communication… and excuses on how the dress is delayed and they don’t provide tracking only on this designer, etc. I had to request full refund and go buy a dress off the rack elsewhere 70 days before my wedding. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

BRIDES BEWARE!!! READ IMMEDIATELY!!
My future sister in law came in and shopped at Signature Bridal at the end of July 2024. She said yes to a Stella York dress and was told it would be ordered and shipped to the store by October for her wedding next April 2025.
She called the store for a dress update in September numerous times and left messages for weeks and got no response back. Finally, Megan, the new store owner, responded and told her that her Stella York dress was delayed and would now come in late November or early December.
My sister in law noticed on Google the horrible reviews and experiences from brides in just the last couple weeks and how their dresses were not coming in on time, or at all, and how poorly Signature Bridal was handling the situation by not answering calls and not responding. As any bride would, my sister in law to be panicked and went to the store to get information on her dress. Still feeling uneasy with the in person interaction with a consultant in store, who also couldn’t locate her folder or order information, she decided to reach out to the designer directly.
This is where it gets BAD! My sister in law was told BY THE DESIGNER (Stella York) that Signature Bridal should never have sold her the dress in July because Signature Bridal IS NO LONGER AUTHORIZED to sell the brand and therefore, there was NEVER an order even placed for her. Signature Bridal took her money under the false pretense that they would be ordering her a dress, when they knew full well they are no longer an authorized retailer. They are SCAMMING brides. Stella York gave her a formal document (which we have in our possession) to use to dispute the charge with her CC company immediately and helped her located a legitimate retailer in the STL area who was able to get a dress ordered. Whew.
If this doesn’t make you cancel your appointment immediately, I don’t know what should. If you ordered a dress from this shop, PLEASE reach out to the designer directly to see if there was ever an order placed! I hope we can save at least just one bride from the horrors my future sister in law has experienced. Shame on you Megan and the new ownership of Signature Bridal. This was a wonderful place to shop for years and now, since your ownership, it is a disgrace.

ENTER AT YOU OWN RISK:
January 27, 2024 I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses. The experience itself and the employee helping me was amazing. I was told my dress and veil would arrive within 16 weeks (May 18, 2024) in plenty of time for my wedding on 10-12-24. I understand shipping can take some time and be longer than anticipated, so I waited a couple weeks after May 18th to call for a status update. I was told my dress would “for sure” arrive within 2 weeks. About 2 weeks later, I called again. I was told my dress was on the way “for sure within 2 weeks.” Called again in 2 weeks….you get the idea. Finally, around some point toward the end of July I was told my veil arrived and once again, assured my dress would be in within 2 weeks. After that point, every time I called I was told my veil had arrived, and my dress had shipped and would be here in 1-2 weeks. I gave it some more time and called again. At this point I felt my calls were being ignored, as I had left voicemails and sent text messages with no reply. Finally, my mother was able to connect with an employee. Again, we were assured my dress would be here “by this Thursday.” My father drove 3 hours to pick up my dress, and my now sister in law drove 45 minutes to be the individual to ‘inspect’ the dress so my father and I could still have our first look moment. Upon arrival, they were told the truck shipment was on its way but had not yet arrived. They left and came back, and were told the truck “got into a fender bender.” I reached out to the shipping company and inquired about recent accidents in the area involving this company’s truck. They stated there had been zero accidents and all shipments were on time. I completely understand shipping, dealing with customs, etc is out of the shop’s control, but honesty & communication is not. Had they been honest with me regarding the location of my dress I would not be upset. They repeatedly told me my dress had shipped, would be here within 2 weeks, that “only the seller has the tracking number,” and my dress would arrive before my wedding. They had zero concern regarding alterations, if the dress was damaged, let alone peace of mind, human decency, and good customer service. I ordered a backup dress from Amazon 3 weeks before the wedding and it arrived before this dress did. My dress arrived 16 days before the day of my wedding. LUCKILY I have an amazing seamstress I have known for years that is a magician and was able to get my alterations done before the ceremony. Highly DO NOT recommend purchasing, or even trying on dresses, at this shop unless you want to be stressed, anxious, and more than likely not have your dress. On top of everything, the owner repeatedly stated she would be present when my dress was being picked up (and she was aware we were on the way) but chose to be a coward and not be at the store. Getting in touch of an employee, let alone an employee that can “help” you is next to impossible. When you do get in touch, you’ll never be told the truth. If you see this review, please continue reading the others, they only get worse.
