I wasn’t going to write this but the more I thought about it, the more I felt I wanted to let others know about my visit. This is not the Schnucks that I regularly shop. I popped in to get 3 items on the way to a birthday luncheon. I get in line to check out and I am waved over to an older gentleman’s lane. He scans my items, and I pause when he tells me the total. I look up at the screen and discover my scoop on mashed potatoes with gravy, from the deli, is $7.50. I said, “Wow, that’s an expensive scoop of potatoes.” Now, I realize that I’m paying for convenience, so it is not a deal. The checker says this to me. “You better think about this expensive food price when you cast your vote in November.” I am taken back by this, as his political opinion is not what I was expecting as a response, nor do I feel this is appropriate to say to customers while you are working. The smirk as he says this to me, is also NOT appreciated. I understand we all have opinions about politics, but it is not what I want to discuss on a quick “pop in” at the grocery store. I felt this was inappropriate and unnecessary.

Toda, July 5th, was disappointed there was no fried chicken. Asked and was told there were 4 trips to repair kitchen vent and still not working. ?

I order doordash and keep constantly getting refunded for rotisserie chickens. I have been told they're out but went in the store later and saw plenty. Why does this happen? Schnucks may want to look into why im being refused this item because they're not in stocks but I get out and go there and I see plenty. Don't give me red tape please...this has happened several times in the past 2 years. It's annoying.

Left with a bad experience and I will NEVER shop Schnucks again.Monday April 8th 9:30am. Went to customer service to ask if they still had solar eclipse glasses. The older heavy set woman with long straight gray hair at the ‘customer service’ desk not only rolled her eyes at me, but audibly made a sound of disgust and said we sold out of those weeks ago. She then made a comment about me to her male coworker that made me feel embarrassed and stupid. I was so taken back her nonverbal and verbal insults and lack of customer service I left without buying my groceries. I will NEVER be back. Train your people to simply say. ‘I am so sorry we have sold out’ not to shame and embarrass your customers.

Store is nice, but the employees in the bakery are quite rude. Multiple times we have called to order items at the bakery or to ask a question and they are not friendly at all. Outside of maybe one or two items, our business will go elsewhere.
