“I wanted to share my experience with Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union at 1421 Jungermann Rd in St. Peters, MO. On our way home from a difficult trip to St. Louis, where we learned that our three-year-old son would need to be hospitalized for an upcoming treatment, our day went from bad to worse when water spilled all over the back of our car, soaking his car seat. We pulled into the parking lot to try and clean up the mess. As I comforted my son, my husband did his best to clean up with what we had on hand.
Out of nowhere, a lady who works at Gateway Metro ran out to our car with a roll of paper towels, offering to help. We were complete strangers to her, yet she saw our struggle and took the time to bring us a little relief during an otherwise dark moment. My husband and I were both choked up by this act of kindness.
If this is how they treat strangers, I can only imagine the incredible customer service they must provide to their members. We are beyond grateful for this simple gesture that meant the world to our little family today. Thank you to the lady at Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union for being a ray of light when we needed it most.”

“Never had a bad experience in my 10+ years as a member. Awesome people, excellent services, and all of my in person business has taken less than an hour every time. Even when I've had issues, they've always been quickly resolved, and that consistent empathy for the people they help is part of why I'd never want to switch banks. You are bound to have an issue with your bank at some point - First Community is the only place I've found where I fully trust them to help with whatever issue that is to the best of their ability, even when other places would simply say it wasn't their responsibility. Wish I could rate them higher, they deserve it!”

I’ll add that I came 20-30 minutes before close and while I felt terrible, he was still very kind and understanding!!”
“I've been with ABECU since the late 70's. I was looking on Google for a branch location and saw some disturbing reviews. I started reading them and couldn't believe it. One person posted several reviews that were ridiculous. He's blaming the lender for a bad car he bought? Since when does the lender become responsible for your purchase? That's the dealership. Others blame them for bad service. I've never had a bad experience. Never. Had many car loans and a credit card over the years. My guess is that if you are a good customer and pay your bills you will have no complaints ?”
