Alexis, a sweet brunette woman was so adorable and always happy to see me! I've been there several times with my father's shirts.
However, When I arrived with q sheepskin to a different employee yelled at me saying "we don't take no rugs!" . I tried to explain to her that they don't have an accurate number on their website. She just waved me away.

I have been going to American Cleaners for years and never had a problem. I have gone in with some grease spots on a shirt and slacks and the spots always came out. Especially if you pointed them out.
Also very friendly. My go-to dry cleaners.

Do not ever go here. Just horrible customer service. Really rude employees. Lines of customers and pay no attention. So many other great options. Don’t waste your time or money here.

It was my first time using this location (Chesterfield) and I had horrible experiences at both drop-off and pickup.At the drop-off, I came in with a bag of gourmet, saw an attendant working behind the counter. She saw me but didn’t say anything. I thought she was busy so decided to just wait. And she talked to me “You need to get your stuff out of the bag. Did you think I would do it for you?” I got very uncomfortable but tried to think it’s the way she jokes around. Also I presented online coupon on my phone and she rudely said “you need to bring a print.” It’s my bad that didn’t read details carefully and went back home to get my coupon. I showed up with the print and she started processing while asking me a question with a smirk “How did you get this coupon?” I hesitated to even have communication because I started sensing her intention of the ask. (I’m guessing she thought I took it from someone or something? ) I anyway answered that it came with newspaper. And she went “may I ask HOW you got the newspaper?” That made me VERY uncomfortable. Does she ask these questions to all customers or just based off their race/ethnicity/age or what? What a terrible customer service. I will never go back there as I told her so.Service: General bedding cleaning

Very nice folks behind the counter. Never had an issue with them at all. I don't use expired coupons, and appreciate their attention to detail: they don't want to WASH my shirts with leather trims and such! Good cleaners!

Most discourteous and unprofessional service. Previously this place had young and well mannered folks at the counter. Not sure what has changed. Terrible!

Absolute disaster. Attached are pics of the shirts on the rack at the store as I got them. They offered to “re do” them. Not a chance. John insisted I pay for them. Please-please see the two pics

You should not have children run your business over the weekend like I had to deal with today having something cleaned with simple instructions on how to clean it.

So, I was going to this cleaners for years. I put up with all their silly rules about shirts needing dry cleaning instead of laundry, including pullovers which made no sense. I also put up with their unfriendly natures except for a few of the "kids" who have worked there, etc. Today, I try to drop off 2 shirts. This middle aged manager tells me they aren't taking expired coupons any longer. I tell her I've never had a problem before and she tells me they've been doing this for a long time. Well that was a lie and I have the new coupons at home but I didn't feel I had to come back with them. I should have had at least one warning visit. I tell her "well there are other cleaners." Instead of giving me proper customer service and saving a customer, she tells me "have a nice day." This is her losing the company money over the long run to make a few extra cents today. What a shame that there are such ignorant people in the world. My new cleaners is right next to my grocery store a half mile from my house and I would rather pay them more than drive 3 miles and give American Cleaners another dime. YUCH!
