We have been here several times. The prices that ring up at the register often do not match the store tags. All the staff is very kind and they're all working. I suspect the store is understaffed. I hope things improve.

I was greeted at the door by the manager this morning. Very well lit, clean store. Friendly and helpful employees and manager! I needed help finding a few things and was helped promptly. Nicely space aisles. The shelves were stocked well. I look forward to shopping there again.

I can’t believe Dollar General wants comments posted on social media, but here goes.... I live closest to the store in Steelevill, Mo, but will drive to Cuba Mo or any other DG first. I absolutely love DG stores. However, u gave us a bigger store in Steelville just to have one that is continually out of stock on the very basics. And I mean the very basics like toilet paper! I’ve never ever seen that in the other stores. As a matter of fact, just last week, I told the manager of Cuba how refreshing it was to go into a DG with my grocery list and be able to mark everything off. She was very kind and said she loves to have my business and she has it. Cuba is also a clean and tidy store. Steelville looks like someone had a rave party in there on a Saturday nite. Now for the clincher! My husband was just in there last nite. He bought some soda. He had a $100 bill. The clerk said he couldn’t break it because he had just gotten his drawer. The manager and assistant manager was standing 5 foot away joking around with each other. He wouldn’t even ask them to take the bill to the office! My husband left his soda on the counter and walked out the door and went to country mart. Our local grocery store. I was an assistant manager for Wal Mart and I ran a bar for 13 years. I KNOW this is NOT how u run a business. Right now, I would even be taking a serious look at my district manager!
