The mail carriers here need to be retrained. Certified mail is supposed to be given directly to the person and signed for at time of delivery. That doesn't mean stick an attempt to deliver sign on a door while multiple cars are in the driveway, make no attempt to knock on the door to alert the homeowners of your presence, nor does it mean to stick Certified mail in a mailbox and want the recipient to sign and send that portion back. Post Master General has a very low tolerance for inaccuracies on the part of mail carriers. It wouldn't be such a big deal if this was a one time issue, however it's not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th.

Never get your mail bills. Show up late and you never get your packages. Somebody needs to do something about this postal service.

They never fail to steal mail from their customers instead of delivering it. Three gift cards stolen, a few checks

Mail delivery is absolutely the worst I have every seen. Bank statements never show up. Package I addressed and mailed to Dept. Of Veterans Affairs sent back over a month later with a label stating it wasn't addresses properly. It was! Cape Girardeau office took care of it. Unfortunately, it was time sensitive! Chaffer is absolutely a mess!

The rural postal carriers are useless. They frequently claim that packages are delivered when they clearly are not. They make metiocre seem like a grand aspiration. I wish that I could get away with not doing my job and not be reprimanded for it.

They were really hard working, every single person looked for my package for me when I needed it earlier than it would be delivered.

What a horrible place! Many times their phone is off the hook. I just spoke with a male employee here on the phone who argued with me when I told him I had tracked my package & it was at their location. He obviously didn't want to work. He kept interrupting until he just said "now is not a good time." Then he just hung up on me! These people should be thankful that they have a job instead of making it sound like a burden. That is why I usually call Kelso or Scott City post offices for help. They are friendly, knowledgeable, & very helpful. Maybe this one will eventually close down.

The people are respectful when I go in (give respect get respect) they have always been helpful to me. I live on a busy highway and packages have been in my box if they do not fit we have left instructions to leave them at my door. The closure at lunch time in often inconvenient.

Recieved a package delivered to my mail box that had been opened and the contents 2 silk blouses and 2 pair of pants stolen. The package was 18 by 15 by 5 and weighed almost 3 lbs, large brown envelope with large green and white pokodots all over it. The post office employees say they didn't see it and that it was not opened. Somewhere between arriving at the post office and my mailbox the contents disappeared. Check your mail and if anything isn't correct complain this must stop, it is a federal offence subject to prosecution. Brenda Ban
