Found a used vehicle online. Requested to see if it's available. Gage Smith reached out to me and went above and beyond with customer service and communication. This gentlemen worked with me and his finance folks to give me a great deal on this vehicle. I drove three hours to pick it up. Test drove it, did the paperwork and was on my way back home in about an hour. This was one of the smoothest vehicle purchases I have ever experienced and I've bought allot of cars.Thank you for the outstanding experience Gage!

Alriiiiiighty.I'm not usually a Karen on businesses, BUT, lemme tell you about our time with Wood Ford CarthageMy 19 year old has a 2012 Ford Fiesta, and it's been broken down for MONTHS. Months before it broke down, we got a piece of mail stating that the Transmission Control Module has a one time replacement on it because of it being a known faulty part. She called and tried to get her car scheduled, but they told her the TCM was months out on backorder and it couldnt be done at the time, fast forward to it breaking down. She was at the dollar store and her car started jerking and wouldnt go into reverse anymore. We got it to the shop and they charged $80 for the diagnostics. They said it was the clutch and quoted her around $3k for repairs, so we took it to a different mechanic (well known and a super good shop) and it was about $1600. She gets her car back and the mechanic states that it still won't go into reverse, despite changing the clutch, and he thinks it is an electrical issue. So we call Ford and they then state that it had actuators that needed replaced, so she is quoted $210 for parts and $300 for labor. She finally gets her car in, and today they call saying that they replaced the actuators, and MORE CODES popped up after they were done, the TCM being one, and so they replace it really quickly (seems crazy because whenever she called initially it was on backorder and couldn't be done, but now they're just laying around ready to be put in cars) and it's still not working. That some clutch fork and spring must have gotten broke whenever the clutch was being replaced, and placed the blame on the other mechanic, who purchased his parts from Ford and guarantees all of his work, he is not the issue here.. (Whenever she drove it home from Joplin perfectly fine, it just didn't have reverse) and then her car parked out front for 2 months waiting to be fixed. But now, because of this new work that needs to be done, they are trying to charge $1100 more dollars to just look and see if it's the problem. Whenever we dropped the car off, it started and drove all the way across Carthage to be dropped off, 2 days later(today) while picking it up, the car wouldn't even make it off of the road that Ford is on (literally pulled out on the road, drove 100 ft and wouldn't move), I had to push it for 200 ft with my 17 year old Jeep and park it at Dodge until further notice. On a 0-10 rating, I give a -5.Amazing. I love how the diagnostics didn't work correctly, and because the car was sent elsewhere for work, it's automatically the problem. She is literally able to work maybe 25- hours a week, and they have just bled her dry on this car.The crazy part is this isn't even the first bad experience I have had, a couple years ago whenever it was MY fiesta that was having door latch issues, I had to go through HELL to get it fixed, they even sent me back with my car in worse condition then it was whenever I dropped it off, with 2 kids in the car.Until this is resolved, I'll make a bad review every single time I remember to. Every day if I have to.Because Ford is at fault. From the wrong diagnosis, to another wrong one, to literally sending her off in a car that is in worse condition then it was when she trusted them to work on it. Over $2000 in repairs for her car to not work and have MORE NEW codes after they've worked on it.Unacceptable.

This dealership uses false price advertising to lure in potential buyers with significantly lower car prices featured on their website resulting in false prices throughout all online car search portals. Their online advertised price does not clearly state conditions, nor it suggest there might be conditions to be aware of. I was able to find one mention of a condition buried in the tiny font in the footer of the page stating that price featured assumes financing through this dealership. I did find that unfortunately after the fact.In addition to advertising lower/unattainable price, sales person never mentioned this is something I need to know before making 150 mile drive to purchase a car, I also called ahead to confirm what I need to bring as this will be a cash purchase. Once we arrived, test drove the car and time came to make a purchase, sales person comes back with price over $2100 higher than advertised, explaining that their online price is only if we finance and trade in old car. We were ok with financing part of the purchase to get this price, but sales person was adamant that we need a trade in on top of financing. Again I will mention that on their website there was no mention of trade in requirement.Wasted 5 hours of my time.Stay away of this unethical business.

Terrible body shop. I Was called to pickup wife’s car followed by another call that they had not been paid by insurance so they would not give us the car. I spoke with the insurance company who said they would have a check asap or even offered to do a eft. I explained that the rental car had to go back and my wife would not have a car to drive are 3 boys to their sports. He made it very clear that he did not care and even tho he has never had trouble getting paid by American family he would be holding the car hostage. They were unwilling to work out any kind of compromise and had zero compassion. I can’t speak of the quality of their work as I have yet to see it. They are definitely more concerned about money more than people.

BEWARE: FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I found a car (Hyundai) I want to buy on Carguru and was listed at $47,511 with about 600 miles on. I contacted them and worked with them, checked out the history of the car etc. After all the time I spent, I asked for a cash value. They said it was $52K! I asked why and the sales person said because I don't have a car to trade in - that added 1K penalty . I don't want to finance the car so 1K penalty, In order for them to ship the car to me, it will cost me1.9K. (I was quote by a transportation company for $800) So total is 52K to get that car! Even though they advertised the car for $47,511. I think it is a very dishonest practice to attract people to inquire with low pricing then ADD all the fees in as PENALITIES! I have never heard such a thing buying a car in cash has to subject to penalties! Car Guru should kick them off of their platform. - Car Buyer M from Nevada

Earlier reviews are on par with my experience - stay away from this unethical business. This dealership uses false price advertising to lure in potential buyers with significantly lower car prices featured on their website resulting in false prices throughout all online car search portals. Their online advertised price does not clearly state conditions, nor it suggest there might be conditions (by marking it with asterisk for instance) to be aware of. I was able to find one mention of a condition buried in the tiny font in the footer of the page stating that price featured assumes financing through this dealership. I did find that unfortunately after the fact. In addition to advertising lower/unattainable price, sales person never mentioned this is something I need to know before making 150 mile drive to purchase a car, I also called ahead to confirm what I need to bring as this will be a cash purchase. Again I will mention that on their website there was no mention of trade in requirement. Absolutely wasted time, what's worse the car was well worth the extra $2100, and we would have paid it if we knew that upfront, but we refuse to give business to shady business people - stay away, there are plenty dealerships with good people.

Financing made a "MISTAKE" with the monthly terms. I signed the contract for 60 months and they financed me for 72 months instead. I asked for a new contract and they told me NO! Salesman and GM did not care. Terrible buying experience at Wood Ford.

Jeff Morgan walked me through the sale flawlessly. Bought a used well taken care of vehicle that was clean and detailed perfectly. They sent the local lock Smith to provide me with an extra key. Will be buying my next vehicle here when I am ready to.

They do not have a good service department at all not even a friendly service department. I do not recommend them to anyone please do not take your car there. Their diagnosis on my car started out 150.00 ended up paying 400.00 and they didn’t even do a full diagnosis of the car.

Dear Ford, in Friday night's torrential down pour, I pulled into your parking lot. I sure appreciate your hospitality and helping me stay safe. I saw two others waiting in their cars for a break in the weather. Thank you!

2 hours into our vacation, our car broke down. Would take over a week to repair so we needed to purchase a vehicle. Service department was great and got it checked out even though they were busy! JJ Morgan listened to our wants/needs and showed us a vehicle that fit those requirements. No hassle, no pushing for something more. Friendly. The Finance officer was also great and easy to talk with. They all took good care of us!

Prices are outrages and there not real professionals. They charge you for parts you don't need and run up cost on parts that cost 20 dollars online for 600 dollars. Not worth my time anymore. They fix one part and want to check for more problems uncase that's not it. Too me that is lies to get more money out of you. Don't go here ever.

They were willing to take the time to help us out, even though we had to test drive several cars. Definitely would buy from them again.
