This used to be the very best pharmacy in the area. I really appreciate the pharmacists and assistants. They seem to be working their butts off. However, Walgreens in Cape has become a place of disappointment, long waits, multiple return visits, unexpected closures, and unpredictable prices with the same insurance. I'm not sure what in the world is going on. I was told on the phone to come at 8 am to speak in person to a pharmacist, but when I got here, they didn't open until 9, when I had to be at work. So I'm back on my lunch break and have already waited in line for about 30 minutes. They close for lunch soon. They need another pharmacist unquestionably!

Worst pharmacy ever! It really sucks that my insurance will only cover my daughters’ epilepsy meds through Walgreens. Even though my girls regularly take the same meds every month and are on automatic refill, they never have enough to refill, and have to order more. Then they say they can only run it through one insurance, instead of both insurances, because I had to take a partial order, instead of waiting for the full order. So I have to pay $19 out of pocket that should be covered by the second insurance.

Waited in line for 30 minutes just to be told they were closing early due to not having a pharmacist. Terrible service.

Friendly staff. They have your prescriptions ready in a timely manner. Parking can get a bit congested, but that’s a common theme for Walgreens everywhere. I I’ve been going here for many years and will continue to do so.

Pharmacy is a hit or miss. Called this morning to refill my son's Seizure medicine, they said they'd fill it, I could pick it up after work. Go there at 3:30 they are closed! This medication is the only thing that stops him from having seizures. And due to insurance we can't get back ups or refills early. Super scary and not to mention unprofessional. We had to drive 40 miles to another Walgreens and have it filled after calling the doctor, and 2 other pharmacys. Them drive another 40 miles back.

Pretty bad pharmacy. Super slow drive through with weird hours. They're cheap, but that doesn't help when it takes a week to get anything from them. Wouldn't recommend sending any important scripts here.

Very frustrated with Walgreens today. I scheduled an appointment with them to get my COVID-19 vaccine shot at 2:50pm. However, when I arrived at 2:30 there was a sign on the door stating that the pharmacy had closed at 1:30. I totally understand that there is a staffing issue at this time, but Walgreens has my contact information on file and could have informed me before I arrived at the appointment. I consulted the lady at the check out and she went to speak with her manager who never came to speak with me directly. Although she was really helpful, there seemed to be no remorse for not contacting me and I was directed to come at 9am tomorrow or wait in the waitlist (which is always very long). Walgreens' failure to communicate costed me much of a day, that could have easily been prevented or rescheduled via email.

Didn't have the greatest experience this morning. Not sure the person in the window... Bridgette maybe?, was having the greatest morning or was happy to be at work. Wasn't friendly. Let me take my test early but kind of chastised me. Picked the wrong test for my son's drive in test by accident. Limited time to take the test/get results for trip. Didn't offer many options because they have other customers (which means I didn't take priority in the moment) and I could go online (but I was right there!). Not happy with this experience.

In the early evening I dropped off a prescription (I called ahead to see if they had it in stock) and seeing they were extremely busy I said I would pick it up the next day. So, I went inside to pick it up.. it was way too crowded. I then went through the drive through. I had given myself 40 minutes to pick up this prescription before getting on the highway to catch a plane .. I was doing great until they said they did not fill my scrip. I said I dropped it off last night and needed it now in order to be on time for my plane (3 hours away). The pharmacist stopped filling scrips to come over to the window and tell me there would be an hour wait! She had 8 ppl in front of me! I told her actually I was way ahead of them since mine was there since yesterday. In the time she stopped what she was doing and explained that to me she wouldn't fill it....she could have popped my medication in a bottle and we both could have been on our way!! She shoved my scrip back through the window and left ... customer service at its worst. CVS filled it right away ( thank goodness). It was cheaper too

Item showed online price of $1.49. At the store, the price was $3.49. Double online price. Website says that online/store price may vary. You pay double to walk in the store and buy item. If you do the 'pick it up' option, it's $1.49! Buy buy Walgreens

Called to ask about a price of an item, the lady who answered said "she couldn't check because she was behind the counter." Really? You couldn't help out a potential customer?

90% of the time when I have had to use this Walgreens pharmacy the wait has been atleast an hour. If I try to call before coming to pick up a prescription I am on hold 30 plus minutes before can even talk to a living person. Right now I am waiting in line at the store, they have 3 cash registers and only one of those are being used, and that cashier is also working to fill prescriptions. The line at the drive thru was 3 deep which can take 20 plus minutes per car to move. Finally, the store manager has opened another register. Now I'm told there isn't even a record of me calling this morning to transfer my prescription from another pharmacy. Also I had picked up a cane in the store that I wanted to purchase, but after the experience I've had with them today decided not to get it and I left it at the front register and started to the door when I heard the cashier there say "I wish I could reach...." I didn't hear the rest of what she said but when I asked her she couldn't give me an answer. Just made me wonder if she meant she "wished she could reach" me with the cane.
