For starters the pricing was very reasonable! Debbie was great at organizing and directing things, giving us reasonable expectations of what could and couldn't make it down the stairs. The movers were super careful but quick. They were all very professional and courteous. Wish I was better with names, Taylor I think, a tall and super friendly fella was genuinely so kind and conversational, giving good advice and going the extra mile. Can't recommend Helpers enough!

They are prompt and help me get moved around the rainy weather to keep my furniture dry. They new that we had a tight schedule. They handled the furniture with care and wanted my opinion how I wanted it put in storage. I will use them again when it is time to move into my new location. Thanks again.

This was the WORST moving experience EVER!!! Didn't realize we were being charged $200/hr til the day of the move, they showed up 2hrs late with no explanation! There was a family moving in the same day we were moving out so their tardiness caused the other family to have to pay late fees on their uhaul! We had 45mins worth of furniture to move from a small duplex apartment they stood around talking CONSTANTLY! Moving slow purposely to stretch the time out! When the apartment was FINALLY cleared, they even drove past the new house way out the way even though they had the correct address...steady running the time up! I had to leave to go to the bank to get extra money to pay them cause it was taking them so long, I left a family member behind while I left. The family member said soon as I left they stood around outside just talking for over 30 mins...time I'm being charged! I ended up paying $500!!!!! Because they milked the clock like CRAZY!!! This feels like senior abuse! If I was capable of lifting the things myself this job would d been done and over with quickly. They ruined an entire day for 2 families and got paid good for horrible service! If I could give 0 stars I would! HORRIBLE experience!!!

I work at The District At Cape apartments. They have treated our residents great and we get good feedback from the residents when they use Helpers services. I also used them personally one time during the winter months and they were exceptional. There was snow on the ground and it was very cold. They took the time to put a red carpet down so on top of the snow so they wouldn't track snow and salt into my house. I really appreciate their professionalism.

These people have no clue or just don't care about how to run a business. They don't allow you access to your storage unit on the weekends, sometimes even during the week. I was there recently in the morning on a week day and barely got into it for tools I needed for my job before they closed it up for the day ?... If you need storage, don't get it here. And clearly nice people ?

If you have expensive items stay away. The movers stuffed my 55 inch flat screen tv in between the wood on my couch. No blanket, I had plenty of blanket's. When I called to report it the lady asked me if the tv was in box bascically blaming me for the damage. Beware. They will not replace broken items due to their own negligence.

We used Helpers Moving for unloading after moving to Missouri from south Alabama. The office staff, Alexis and LaShaunda were on top of all details and the movers themselves were hard and efficient workers. We were extremely pleased with all their services and highly recommend this business and would not hesitate to use them again. Job well done in all aspects.??

Really appreciate all the help from Debbie and Alexis for the recent move they performed for me. Debbie is excellent to getting a lot of things packed 26' + 20' trucks and then getting it into the house and storage units. If you have to move, call them to get it done. Thank you all again... Deb

There's truth to Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt's lawsuits against local moving companies and their "bait and switch" tactics. Here's how it works: (1) start loading a few items (2) turn to the customer in a "highly emotional" (belligerent) rant concerning the "extra items" not agreed upon or "seen" (3) threaten to drive away and leave the customer stranded when timetables are tight (4) bid up the price to ease tension and then move the load! What's a few hundred bucks more to move items that "weren't seen before" and just magically "appeared out of nowhere?" This theatrical stunt is well known and one that Eric Schmitt ought to crack down on. Note, all was rainbows and butterflies after the owner's drama was over, and the "extra fee" agreed to. Buyer beware with this operation.

Schedule is not flexible.U won’t make 15$ hr like the job ad says, enjoy 13$If u a guy be prepared for an old lady to try to tell u how to lift furniture. She is bossy, a know it all, and she likes it her way onlyShe lets people drive without required certification. She charges full price for uniforms that u don’t agree to pay for, if they don’t look brand new.Don’t work here.
