I was in this site in cape fair around 12pm on July 15th. When I went to check out the guy at the register was awesome. I'm mad at myself that I didn't get his name. I couldn't get my cards to work very fast. He was very patient and kept telling me it was OK when I apologized. I'm not sure if he is a manager but I have been in customer service and management all my life and he is definitely management material. At least deserves top pay!!! I hope a general manager sees this because he deserves recognition!!!

I have a lake house near this store in Cape Fair and visit this Dollar General often. This morning I needed several things, including staples, to complete a presentation but the shelf was out of staples. Upon asking, the clerk went to his stapler and offered me some of his so that I could complete a presentation for a customer. I was able to get everything I needed to complete the presentation including staples. This store has great people and they are always there when we need something. Thank you to him and to Dollar General for a job well done.

I live in Cape Fair. Throughout the covid mask mandate this store totally ignored the laws. The workers gossip constantly about everything in the community in front of customers, they are not at the counter and ignore people quite often, they never have items shelved properly, the toilet reeks of rotten eggs, and the place is often filthy.

I was shopping her yesterday they was having clearance sale ,there was a cart by some clearance items so I was looking in it and out from behind the register came the manager she started yelling to me to get out of that cart it was hers I said you are working she said it don’t matter maybe I should ask before I dig in a cart. She then comes out to the bathroom by the clearance table and continues saying things to me. As I was checking out she continued talking about me to the other cashier, as she has 2 carts full of clearance items, also carts in the back full as well. I am just saying her as a Dollar General employee shouldn’t be hoarding all the sales items for herself while on the clock! Also she showed very poor customer service yelling and talking to me as she did. I will also be contacting corporate office.
