Open 24 hours
220 E Grand Ave, Cameron“This lodge was the final stop heading home on a 2 week road trip. I checked in around 10pm with my dogs and s/o. The room was clean and the owner was cool. Zero complaints on our end”
“Really loved the "dogs stay free: policy. The breakfast was very good & hot (coffee too).
Our room needs help. The curtain rod is messed up, toilet seat needs replaced & there was absolutely no water pressure or water in the tub/shower. (Sinks were fine)
We were within walking distance to many fast food places & Nelle's Restaurant.
Good place to stay the night - be great with a few upgrades & repairs!”
“Beautifully updated and clean rooms. This is definitely a hit. Feels very safe and cozy.Safety: Location is behind truck parking at a gas station, but feels very safe and welcoming.”
“I have never stayed in a Super 8, but this one made me a believer. I would say this is the BEST motel in Cameron. We drive cross-country several times a year visiting our kids and always drive through Cameron. I decided to make this one of our overnight stops and we were not disappointed. It was a cold December night, and we found the parking lot well lighted and clean. There were several grassy areas handy for our little Sheltie. The front desk thanked us for letting them know ahead of time that we were bringing a dog as they have limited rooms designated for them (heads up). They apparently sell out of pet rooms all the time as this is a popular destination for travelers and police academy students (lots of police staying at the place).
The hotel was clean, everything in the room was working, and the heating was comfortable. Morning coffee was excellent (did I say the morning coffee was excellent?) and the breakfast was not bad. It is across the road (one exit) from McDonalds, where we always stop for food and gas (Dunkin next door).
I would not hesitate to stay here in the future during our road trips.”
