I love taking my car to Huletts! The service department always is friendly and knowledgeable! They never make me feel less because I am female. They are really good at noticing things before it turns bad! I am thankful for Huletts!

Would not recommend this service department to anyone! We're from Wisconsin, spend time in the LOZ area quite often. Have had oil changes done here with no problem, but Service Engine Soon light came on in our truck, took it in, they diagnosed 2 issues, made us pre pay for 1 part, said they had the other on hand. We had to wait another week to get our truck in (were scheduled to go back home, but had to extend a week because of this), took truck in, and when we paid, it was WAY less than they quoted & only the part we pre paid for was put in, so we knew something was wrong. Spoke to Nathan and asked about the 2nd diagnosis which they said they had the part for, he claimed there was a "miscommunication" about that and that part had been sold, and supposedly everything was ok with truck (huh?) So we got about 10 miles down the road and light came on AGAIN. Immediately called Nathan, he said bring back in the morning which we did, left it there, and when WE called to ask about the status were told it was a different reading on the diagnostics and they could order the part which was $200 more than the original issue they said it was, and it would be in "next week". Needless to say, we told them to forget it. NEVER, NEVER will we take our vehicle back to Hulett. All info should have been in their computer since we got a print out every time, so absolutely no excuse to mess this up. Hopefully we make it home safely

These guys couldn’t fix a cardboard box. Horrible diagnostic skills(or a lack there of), bad communication, and poor execution. You couldn’t pay me to let them work on my stuff.

Long story ahead, short story. Don’t take it to hulett. I bought my truck in Illinois and found an oil leak on the way home. Took the truck to hulett because they’re local and it’s a gmc. They diagnosed the rear main which was very reasonable being a 5.3 motor it happens. Got it back and somehow it leaked more!? Wasn’t worried they got me in quick so I took it back and they told me they “don’t have the capacity to clean the oil off the bottom of the truck to diagnose it” a dealership doesn’t have rags and a towel? Cmon now that’s hogwash. Also how’d you originally diagnose it then?? I cleaned the truck and took it back for them to diagnose the oil pan gasket and the oil cooler gasket. I had them go ahead and do the oil cooler gasket but not the pan because I knew I could do it for a lot less. I did the pan at a friends shop, found they didn’t re-seal the bolt on rear main (I have pictures) and it started leaking a whole lot less but still leaked. Took the truck to A1 Thomas because when I was going to take it back to hulett they told me they were 2 weeks out. Got it checked out and it’s still the rear main. Bring it to hulett and they “can’t get to it you caught us at a bad time”. With them already being paid for the part/labor that had failed. A little mad about that, feeling my truck should take priority because I had already had them work on it. Whatever though it happens. took the truck in when they said they’d start it. Low and behold their tech they had working on it is on vacation for the week. That’s fine, people need their me time, understandable but you could have said that beforehand and I would have taken the time and done it myself. But what I don’t understand is why they told me they’d have it in the Monday he got back but when I called about it they told me that tech had to put in 2 other motors for 2 other cars? I then called and left a voicemail on the service managers telephone. Not 3 minutes later I got a call saying they JUST ORDERED the part and will look at is Asap. I call again today (Thursday) twice to get sent to service and then have to leave a voicemail again. Showed up for them to tell me they had looked at my truck had been done with. This is 10 minutes before they close too. Guess what? They cleaned the bottom of it to diagnose it this time? Crazy. That’s what I was told by the service writer helping me at least. So were they not going to call me to tell me my options or that my truck is done being diagnosed? Overall a bad experience and I have never had to deal with this kind of customer service. Additional complaints. When I picked up my truck the 2 times I had the service writer I dealt with had no clue the truck was gone and one time it took them 5-10 minutes to even find my truck to give it back. When they had test drove it once I had stuff in the back from moving and it had been there awhile. With the driving I had done it hadn’t moved. When I picked up the truck it was scattered all over the back of the truck. I understand shops get busy but this could have been handled a lot better.

I have bought at least 25 new vehicles in my life and this was the friendliest dealer ship we have ever encountered. I have bought LEXUS, BMW that wine and dine you but the first greeting from MIKE ELLY was calm no pressure and very very helpful. Excellent person to deal with. Mike was out the day we picked up our vehicle when it arrived so JOHN SUTTON was fantastic as well. John gave us the most detailed walk through ever and was very patient doing so. JOHN great job. We didn't finance the vehicle but dealing with all the paper work with JON was very easy and he was ready for us .. WE WILL ALWAYS GIVE HULETT CHEVROLET first chance in the future.

We took our vehicle in for coil and/or sparkplug replacement. Immediate call that the case cover screw stripped and we need to a new case cover $1300 in addition. Took vehicle over to Precision. They were able to take the case off using some technique and do repairs and reuse case cover. Total $600. It just felt that there was no effort to help is save money and still solve problem.
