Ice cream, coffee, candy, and antiques, do you really need anything else? This place is beautifully decorated and even has special holiday decorations up during the Christmas season. The ice cream is the main reason I went and I was not disappointed! They had about 20 different unique flavors and this ice cream is amazing! I chose the option with 5 mini scoops so I could try out a few different flavors. My sister had a coffee that she really enjoyed too. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel right at home. I will be back!

Walking into Old Village Mercantile is taking a step back in time in the best way possible. We have been coming here for years and have never had something we don't like. Their homemade ice cream is amazing- they come up with different flavors based on the season. Their coffee and drink bar is equally as good. The candy and sweets selection is top notch, and we've even found some candies from our childhood here. We tell people all the time to make a stop at Old Village Mercantile. Come down when they're decorated for the different holidays (July 4, Christmas, etc.).

This is a MUST stop if you are EVER in Caledonia Missouri. Has something for every age, coffee, hand churned ice cream, antiques, candy galore. There's shops too look around while you're in town, but this is a must stop for every time I'm in town 20/10

Brought our daughter today who is 21 and we ate outside and loved the food and conversation. We brought some home for mom who wasn't up for the drive today. I can not say enough for those that love a good hot dog this is the place to go!

Nostalgia to the max! The most amazing old time candy shop/soda fountain/vintage everything. All of your childhood candy favorites. We enjoyed a flight of 5 flavors or delicious ice cream for 5$. The people working there were so so nice. A must stop! It's like going back in time.

Such a wonderful place to visit! We are so lucky to live close, so we can visit whenever we like! A great shopping experience. Vintage items. Homemade treats and ice cream. Amazing decorations year round. Great coffee and specialty drinks! 5 out of 5 recommend! One of my all time favorite places ever!!! I just love taking my son there for ice cream!

My husband and I were visiting for our anniversary weekend and when we walked in, we stood in awe for nearly 5 minutes. This place is incredible! The atmosphere is magical and comforting. We took advantage of the many varieties of candy and bought them as stocking stuffers for the kids. The ice cream is handmade and it's really good! They also sell a unique variety of soda and kitchen supplies. If you come to Ironton, you must stop in Caledonia.

Very neat little shop to bring you back in time! The staff was amazing, friendly, and made the experience great. Wide variety of items: ice cream, candy, jellies, jams, salsa, marinades, coffee, antiques, and so much more. Great place to visit with the family.

Fantastic step back in time store. We came across the store a few years ago, but could not remember where it was. We found it again, May 2021. It is a quaint little candy and antique store that whisks you back in time as soon as you walk in. There are nostalgic candies that bring back childhood memories and knick-knacks and antiques that remind you of a gentler, more quiet times. The ice cream counter offers custom-made ice cream and treats that put other ice cream outlets to shame. All the associates were polite and friendly. The owner even engaged the customers. It is worth the trip!!!
