We came in to cash a check and were very disappointed. One of the ladies was very rude, acted like we had no business being there. After acting like she was being put out by us just being there, she very loudly told our teller "you better make sure their id's aren't expired". We're not idiots... but please, act like we're trying to pull one over on the bank. We've used them since they were bank of urbana, even after we moved and it was less convenient. But I can't say we will continue with them after that. If I wanted to be treated poorly, there are several other places I can go.

When the Bank of Urbana merged with Oakstar, there was a decidedly downward turn. The wonderful small town and personal relationship is only saved by the personal touch of Christie and Shelley and a few others.

The company I am with switched over to OakStar from a local competitor and we have never looked back. Great bank.

This bank has been my personal bank for years. I couldn’t as for a better bank. I have renters who just go to the bank and deposit their rent into my account and no problems

all they want is to be thieves and steal peoples money for no reason. iam broke they cannot be around me or anyone else they don't understand still broke please send the amount to my dad not me so leave me alone criminal bank tellers and staff

This banks lobby closes really early. 3:30? Really why would a bank close their lobby this early. Frustrating.

I thought they were a great bank until they started being VERY Rude. They get mad when you have an account at another bank and deposit a check from them into your oakstar account. I guess they want the $50 transfer fee instead of writing yourself a check. Then they call your other bank to make sure funds are there. (Which would be fine if it didn't cause you to sit in the drive-thru for 10 min or more waiting on them to do it.) Also, if they are going to do that with your other bank, they should do it with ALL checks you deposit. (Which they refuse to do.) I don't recommend this bank to anyone. It has terrible customer service.

They are very friendly and personal. They even have FREE Starbucks coffee and other items!
