Having trouble with my bill. Republic services double charged my residence for yard waste. I have called 6 times to try to solve the problem but to no avail. Two of the staff members were helpful, but no one seems to be able to take off the overcharge.My problem was fixed by Republic services on Jan. 26. There were a couple staff members who did solve the problem. Matt in billing fixed the problem. Elizabeth also helped because she is a good communicator. She informed me what had happened in billing and how the problem was fixed.

Doesnt open at 7, and they keep having lazy drivers that dont do their jobs i had a bulk bag pickup scheduled a week in advanced and they magically didnt pick it up this company is a joke wish Overland could use waste managment instead.update... rebublic service contacted me to apologize for the mistake yet I was lied to, i was told my bags were going to be picked up yesterday January 3rd, and didnt, and I called once again and they said the driver told them he picked them up, and sorry again, but we dont have anybody who can pick up your trash today January 4th maybe MAYBE tommorow, i wonder if Republic Service ever heard of breach of contract, cause its looking that way.

We live near woods and have raccoons that get into our trash bins so we have put raccoon clips on our trash bins. This time we forgot to unclip the straps before putting our trash out so when our trash man came by he tried to empty it and saw that the straps were locked. Instead of getting out of his truck and simply unclipping the straps, he continued on his way without emptying it. So I went outside and unclipped then tried to flag down our trash guy and he turned his head, ignored, and continued his route. So we put in a call, and they said to leave it out for it to be picked up by the end of the day or the next. Well now it’s been the next day at 8:00 p.m on a Friday and still never was picked up. So now I will be waiting until further into next week because we will have another holiday delay. Very disappointing when you have trash piling up. Horrible service

The worst service possible. Always late picking the trash up after ANY holiday. Customer service is zero or worse.

Since I have lived at my house the trash service has been the worst that I have ever known!It started out with my trash not being taken about 1 out of every 4 times (skipped about one week every month)I would think that if it was the same person, it would be looked into but who knows. After a long while, they got better about it, and only missed my trash about 1 out of every 8 times (skipped about one week every 2 months).The week before last, I called because they missed my trash again. The person on the phone told me that they wouldn't be able to send someone until Tuesday (Thursday is trash day). No one picked up my trash until the Thursday after it was missed. It's Thursday night again and I go to check; in hopes that I can bring my trash can back to the side, to find out that they did not pick up my trash again!!!

Most of the time the garbage and recycles are picked up fine. However, around holidays when there’s a change in pick-up day, there are problems. By coincidence I’ve actually been looking out the window on more than one instance so have observed what happens. The garbage truck speeds down our cul de sac (i.e. too fast so clearly planned not to pick up at our houses). The trash cans at houses on our street are placed in the street at the curb, so it’s not possible to overlook them. Then, after turning around at the cul de sac, the truck opts to pick up bins at a couple houses to create the impression they are working. Also, if asked by a supervisor later, they can say the other houses’ trash bins weren’t out or they just didn’t see them. So we waste our time calling Republic Services, talk to a polite customer service agent who offers various excuses for why the bins weren’t picked up, then the rep places a request to have the truck come back around to pick up the missed trash, and the truck never comes back, so problem NOT solved. Then I will contact our town government and am referred to someone from Republic Services who is like a case manager or accounts rep for our town. This person is always helpful and professional and they will tell me that around the holidays there are substitution crews working who aren’t familiar with the routes and may not have seen our bins. No, the bins are right out in the street and the crew just doesn’t want to pick them up.I think houses that are skipped should be credited. Why do we have to pay for this? Again, this is not a one-off. I’ve observed this happening on more than one holiday where the pick-up is delayed by a day.

Took my trash cans away when it was a billing error on their part. They admitted it was their fault and apologized for the mistake after I had to take time out of my day and show them their own paid invoices but now they won’t be able to return my trash cans for a week and a half while I have trash bags and recycling piling up???? That’s what you get when you pay on time and in advance and they screw up. Worst company ever!!!!

My rating for this trash service is due to their incompetence. Unfortunately I have had issues with them since our area switched to them about a year ago(2022). When they first started I had trouble with pick up’s…the guy left some branches I had put out there for 3 weeks..even after I explained to him I was undergoing breast cancer treatments at the time so I didn’t have the strength to bundle them with string but I drug them to the curb…the next issue was a large piece of board which they refused to pick up..I had to get a nice supervisor Reggie involved before they would come and get it..and still to this day there is always something. My yard waste was left for two weeks, then yesterday Oct 18, 2023..the person finally came by, took the yard waste bags but left a large tree branch, which I had carried to the front and placed on top of the yard waste bags, right on my front lawn. I am so tired of having to call about my trash service, especially considering I have never ever missed a payment nor ever been late with my payment..although that should not matter one bit. The fact that I’m paying for a service that is incompetent and does the job as they see fit makes me very disappointed, angry, and frustrated. I hate my district changed to this company. Hope you guys don’t have to get them and if you do that you will have a better experience than I have had. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. An informed customer is able to make better decisions.

Curbside yard waste (paid by Maryland Hts.) is not being picked up on schedule. Had to make various complaints to their call center regarding this issue.

My yard waste was scheduled for pickup on Monday October 2 2023. I had my container at the curb from 6am on (it sits there today Friday October 6 2023) and the truck never came. I reported the missed pickup that very afternoon through the app. Nothing. The next day I called the customer service line, was told they received my request from the app and someone would be "out this afternoon as soon as they finish lunch", nothing App request Wednesday morning call again Wednesday afternoon, was told "we have seen your requests, there is nothing we can do, you'll have to wait until Friday". It's Friday. Nothing.

After code coming by for my cans being left at the curb, because the trash company fails to pick up 1 or none of my cans, I am writing a friendly review. I pay for two cans a week . I expect the services I pay for we are contracted to have this poor service . I am done calling every week. I should be owed several.credits for my drawn out hassle.Service: Trash removal & disposal

The City of Wildwood switched to Republic starting August 1st, 2023. Republic delivered bins to our neighborhood but missed our house. The funny thing is that all of our neighbors on the street got their bins. My wife has called three times, and they promised bins by close of business today. Surprisingly, they didn't show up, and my wife had to call again. They now said Monday the bins will be here. The fantastic thing about this is that I will now have to keep my trash in my garage over the weekend. I sure bet that won't smell with all the warm weather this weekend. Thanks in advance, Republic Services! We're really excited that we're stuck with you.
