Let's be clear: adding self checkout does not mean your workers shouldn't hop behind a register and help shorten the line. I was at this location today and literally watched a cashier/stocker and I'm assuming the manager stand in an aisle towards the back of the store having a conversation as if there were no customers in the store. Then when the lady they left to die up at self checkout asked for help over the intercom you could feel the attitude coming off the light skinned lady with the baby afro as she got behind a register. Her vibe was like "how dare the paying customers expect me to do my job." Do better!

There was a taller (5'6"-7") black woman(fair skinned) with a small black afro. She was stocking chips and became pissed and gave horrible energy and dropped the chips down on the shelf she was in front of. I said excuse me, grabbed the bag I was looking for (I go here for specific things, including these particular chips) She literally walked off to the end of the isle after I said excuse me ,clearly with attitude! I said thank you! No response to anything I said to try and be nice to an employee that gets paid to be nice to customers. She was pissed and irritable due to the fact that she cant seem to stock in a busy store without interruption from paying customers. Which is unrealistic! Its her job and she should do it without the nastiness and do it efficently no matter the flow of the store. Maybe her manager can appease her bu allowing her to put up signs so customers cant rnter an isle she's stocking in, lose money and shut the entire isle down until she's done stocking chips and do some breathing excercises to calm her worked up nerves as if paying customers have done something to her bu alking down an isle to shop. The entire reason she has a job to do in the first place! I noticed not too many customers would attempt to go down that isle as her demeanor was disgusting and Im sure it turned them off. I wanted my snacks! I get them weekly , spent $20 this time around on snacks only. You're welcome Dollar Tree! I hope I never have to encounter her again! She hates her PUBLIC job!

Paid for all my things in self checkout but used two different payment methods. Next thing I know im getting in my vehicle and some lady runs out talking about "my manager said you didn't pay for the plates and you need to give them back." I said yeah I did and pulled out the receipt knowing damn well I paid for them. The store wasn't organized so I didn't even know the price was $4 UNTIL I SCANNED THEM AND PAID FOR THEM. She got friendly and said she would let her manager know. I had no problem with the girl but the manager should really be a manager and not have her employees trying to chase people down while she hides out in the building. An apology from the manager would have been appreciated but I guess she was embarrassed for looking stupid. The managers need better training or needs to actually pay attention if they are in charge of sitting there in their office watching self checkout.

Its my 5/12/24 and arrive at dollar only to be told they are getting ready to close and it is only 8:22pm and the posted hours on the website says they close at 9pm on Sunday and when I called whoever answered the phone made a statement saying that didn't I just say I got to close this store and go to another store and close that one down.The person that answered the phone is lacking in customer service skills,I will bring calling corporate.

When this store first opened it was amazing , but over the years it has went down , they always out of the gallon Crystal Geyser water , they shelves are not stocked , the old man sitting but the self check out watching you as you check out as if you going to steal is sooooo inappropriate , if you don't trust your customers then you need to take away the SELF CHECK OUT !!!

Normally this is my favorite location, it's clean and organized. Well now they have installed self check out. I personally do not care for self, but what frustrates me more is that you have an employee watchinge check out. If you want to have less theft check people out yourself instead of looking while customers check out. I left the store..

I frequent this DT and always find what I need. Went in this morning (4/21) and had the most pleasant experience with both employees. Friendly, funny, helpful. The trifecta of a wonderful employee. Please pass along the praise!

Worst store! Pay employees to stand around and hover over people at self check out! And there's only 2 self checkouts and 4 unused cashier lanes!

Ever since the self checkout started, the store has went downhill. Something makes me really uneasy when the lines goes to the back wall of the store (no exaggeration, I just left) and the people who are there, just stand and watch people check out and don’t open a register.

I went to this location yesterday to grab a few items and the cashier who helped me was very rude. There was an older lady and her son in front of me buying items so I wanted to wait to put my items on the conveyor belt until they moved from the register and the cashier rudely said with an attitude that I could put my stuff up there. I was just trying to wait until they got done. She seemed irritated then once I got up there she didn’t say hello or anything. Better customer service should be had. I was having a good day and her attitude completely threw me off.
