“Highly recommend The Brass Alligator for antiques, hard-to-find items and just a fascinating collection of curios. After weeks of searching for the right kind of lighting to complement an existing crystal chandelier in my historical home, I was delighted to find a wonderful selection of beautifully refurbished options at The Brass Alligator. Brian is a pleasure to work with, quite knowledgeable, and very reasonable too, offering me a generous deal since I was buying three pieces. I have since brought in friends and will continue to come back! Of note, too: for those who lament the closing of Jon Paul antiques, Brian acquired some of his inventory, and also now employs some of the same skilled refurbishing artisans as well.”
“Absolutely charming. The local artists items were so unique. I grabbed a handmade beautiful santa made from an antique candy mold! The shop keep was very friendly. Will definitely return for gifts with sentimental punch.”
“I could probably spend all day in this store. And probably all my money. So many items that brought back memories. Will definitely be back to spend more time and money”
“During our visit to this lovely historic house, my group of five senior women had a pleasant lunch experience. We appreciated the great service and enjoyed the quality of the food. However, we noticed that the menu is quite limited, offering only one entree for vegetarians. Additionally, we observed that the acoustics in the room furthest from the entrance were poor, with noticeable echo. Perhaps improvements can be made to provide more menu options for vegetarians and address the acoustics for a more enjoyable dining atmosphere.”
“I love their selection of mid century items. Huge space, many options, decent parking. Friendly and helpful staff.
Remember they are only open on the weekends and always have new or more items each week.”
“You must come here. They have such a wide variety selection. The gentleman working was so kind. We previously have never been in but came in after lunch. There was a grandfather clock I would have loved to own, very reasonably priced. You can find so many unique giftS. China sets! So much stuff that is so neat! A MUST GO TO ANTIQUE STORE!”
“The man who helped us was very knowledgeable and gave us a great price for our gold, especially compared to other 'buy gold' shops in the area. Overall an excellent experience”
“Adorable little ship with unique finds! I was immediately drawn to their adorable big foot items. So much to look at and a fun mix of cute antique items. Their prices were fairly reasonable too!”
“Had a blast looking through all the treasures with my boyfriend. We found so many cool things and ended up purchasing a few items. Wonderful staff and lots of items!”
“Mr. Szelag did a first class restoration of an 1870s painting by my wife's great, great uncle, a world renowned artist. Mr. Szelag renewed the frame as well, which was a big plus since we were used to seeing it in raw condition. The renewal of the painting made us think we were looking at it for the first time, the change was that dramatic.”
“If you want to find a place
Literally you can barely walk through without stepping on something awesome then you need to go here plus the guy that works there is 100%
The coolest old guy I've ever seen in my life the guy complaining about the online thing doesn't realize this guy is in his later years... he probably doesn't have the time or patience for computer things and does the best he can, as he runs the place on his own and for the passion. you just have to go inside and see him personally he knows what he has and what he has is a passion for sure it'll be a shame when the store doesn't exist anymore
I hope you got his grandsons are children continue running the shop.
People like him
Aren't going to last on this Earth much longer and that's a damn shame”

525 Rue St. Francois St B, Florissant“Very small, but with a nice selection of items. Less antiques and more rummage sale than I expected, but the lady at the counter was very sweet. Definitely a place for finding late 80s and early 90s kitsch.”
“An off the beaten path antique mall off the main road in St. Charles. It's a small little mall, but it has a lot of great treasures to check out. I walked out with a half dozen treasures. The lady was warm & welcoming when I walked in and checked out.”
“We recently had our first visit to jacs. Recommended by a few of the neighbors we decided to head over there for our car overheating troubles. A few hiccups and a little more money than I had hoped to spend she's back and on the road again. They were friendly, prompt as I think they could be for being a older car and having to scour around for parts..and patient with my once a day 'check ins'. ?Service: Electrical”

8631 Watson Rd, Webster Groves“I’ve lived in STL since January and have gone to estate sales nearly every weekend since moving here because I sell vintage wares. MoMo is the best estate sale company I’ve encountered so far, by far. Running these things seems like absolute chaos, but they do it so well. All of their employees are professional and kind, the prices are fantastic, and the flow is organized. Their sales are always very busy, but now that I’ve been here awhile, I totally get why.”

11118 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur“We recently purchased an engagement ring and wedding band and wanted to purchase vintage.Timekeepers is the place to go! We went to the location on Olive and found a HUGE selection ofvintage rings that could be used as engagement (or not) rings and a nice selection of vintage wedding bands. The staff was very helpful and patient while I tried on MANY during two visits. Suggestions were also made to look at vintage wedding bands to 'match' the vintage ring, but there was no pressure. However, the suggestion was great as I had no idea on what to choose! I love my 'set' as it is unique, and I loved the experience at Timekeepers. While there, I realized Timekeepers could resize a ring that belonged to my great-grandmother that I haven't worn for years. When I picked it up, it was beautifully sized and beautifully cleaned!!! I now wear it proudly.I also enjoyed looking at the HUGE selection of old music boxes and other entertainment boxes from long ago.I highly recommend Timekeepers.”

1275 Castillons Arcade Plaza, St. Louis“As I encounter more antique malls, I'm starting to come to grips with the fact that most items aren't antiques, and nothing is organized. For example, you can look at books at 12 different points in the store.
But, like other antique malls, this place is sprawling and provides hours of adventure. I also thought their prices were very fair in comparison to some other places I've been.
Even if you don't plan to buy, it's a great place to checkout for an afternoon.”
“I really liked this thrift store. It seemed to be half antiques/half thrifted items. The prices were incredibly fair and they had some sales going on. It's quite a drive from where I live but I plan to check it out again soon!”
