I tried Leonard's Tailoring for the first time this past month and really appreciated the flexibility of schedule and attention to detail that Leonard provided. He is a pleasure to talk to and provided guidance on the best length for pants for different occasions. Highly recommend!

I had two pairs of lounge shorts that were a bit too big in the waistband and slid down to my hips when I carried items in my pockets. I booked an appointment with Leonard to see if he could add drawstrings to the waist, and he could.I just got them back today and the shorts are perfect! I've also been to Leonard once before (maybe a year or two ago) to get a pair of jean shorts altered and those were fixed to perfection as well.Definitely recommend! He's very kind and his pricing is great.Service: Alterations

I needed a suit tailored on short notice for my wedding. After doing a lot of research online, I found multiple recommendations for Leonard as being the best tailor in the St. Louis area. I decided to take the plunge and drove two hours to see him at his new location in Creve Coeur. Leonard was gracious, polite and obviously very passionate about his work. Unfortunately, it only took him two seconds to notice that the suit I had bought online was several sizes too small and would never be able to fit me no matter how much tailoring he did. Since I had already driven two hours and had only about a week until my wedding, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Luckily for me, Leonard was able to work out a solution with me. He gave me a recommendation for sizing, which stores to look at and even the name of someone he trusted at one of the stores to help me find a suit. Within a couple hours, I had a suit that fit me great and was back at Leonard's location for tailoring. He was even kind enough to keep his doors open after hours for me since I had driven so far to see him. As for the tailoring, it's impeccable. Over the years I've had a fair number of suits, but I've never had a suit look as good or on me or fit me as well as the one that Leonard fixed up for me. I know I'm going to look great on my wedding day and it's all thanks to him. I can't recommend him enough.

Leonard was able to alter my bridesmaid dress within two weeks for $90. He did a great job and is super nice! He currently works out of his home but don't let that throw you off. I will be going to him for any future alterations!

I brought in two new pairs of selvedge raw denim jeans to have the length altered, one of a normal weight of denim and a tight fit, the other a super heavy weight denim in a straight fit. Both came back very fast and fitting beautifully, but because of the thickness of the denim on the straight pair, the inseem at the hem didn't line up on one leg by about 5mm. The very next day, Leonard had me come in and the seem was straightened out in 10 minutes! Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. The prices are very good and the quality is even better!

Leonard is no longer located at the shop in Richmond Heights. At the present time, you need to call to set up an appointment and he will give you the address to where he is operating. He is currently working out of his house basement in Creve Coeur. Each appointment is allowed an hour. It's not exactly convenient for City folk like me, but I've been going to him endlessly for years so I will continue.

Leonard does a fantastic job tailoring. He's now taken in the waist of 5 pairs of pants for me and they fit me beautifully. It isn't super fast (usually 1-2 week turn around, could probably do faster if needed but I haven't asked) and isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and he's worth it. He used to have a location by the Brentwood mall. He's now working out of his home in Creve Couer by appointment. Cash/check only. Thanks to Leonard's Tailoring I've gotten rid of my belts and my wardrobe has gotten a serious upgrade.

Leonard is a very sweet man who tailored a very special coat for me. He was not only friendly but has a great eye for detail. He made sure that my coat looked absolutely perfect. I'm completely in LOVE with my coat! I will definitely be brining any clothes that need tailoring back to Leonard. Great tailoring at a reasonable price.
