If I could give less than one star I would. I am 65 years old and in my lifetime this is absolutely without doubt the worse customer service from a provider I have received in my life. You can't to anyone in person that has the authority and knowledge to help with anything except the most basic questions. I have only been a customer sine 3/23 and have spent hours on the phone and bot chat trying to resolve issues to no avail.

Friendly people; I walked in and was immediately greeted and immediately waited on. They quickly understood my problem and knew exactly what I needed, and was able to resolve my problem right then & there.

Hollie did an amazing job helping me switch from AT&T to Optimum! It took some doing, but she got it done! Also saving $100+ a month by dropping AT&T. I can't thank you all enough!

I've lived in the area for years. Honestly, the service itself is fine, but the base equipment given to you typically isn't great. I'd highly recommend getting an 'aftermarket' router/motem. A $100 Netgear will have you consistently running 70-130 mbps.

I have had this service for years and they have never provided quality service. Now that I am trying to cancel their service, they are giving me the runaround about not being able to cancel it for another 30 days (Company policy) and I have to pay for service I am not getting.

RUN. Do not use optimum they increase your bill with zero support then charge an early cancellation fee when you are finally fed up enough to leave. It’s like some toxic relationship you can’t escape from. Zero out of ten don’t recommend ?

*** I'm updating my review. My initial review was related to Suddenlink's Service. It was Suddenlink that lead me to say: The only thing that is worse than their internet service is their customer service. Dealing with this company is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever experienced with a business.Since my initial review, Optimum has purchased Suddenlink and their internet service is much superior to that of Suddenlink. It is reliable and fast. So I am updating my review from 1 star to 5 stars only because Optimum has taken over.

Had their overpriced internet for 2 1/2 years. Trying to cancel is absolutely ridiculous. The barely English speaking person keeps trying to sell me products & services I am not interested in!!! I will NEVER use optimum again
