I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at the Residence Inn Branson from 6/20 to 6/28. While the staff were amazing, the elevator being out of order during my entire stay was unacceptable, especially since I had a two-year-old toddler with me. If I had known about this issue, I would have chosen to stay elsewhere. As you can see from the camera footage, my son was always in a stroller because I have back issues that make it extremely painful to carry him. Having to take my toddler up to the second floor at night to wash laundry was very uncomfortable. Since my older son was at the Ball Park of America, and I needed to wash his laundry every night I had no assistance.
Additionally, I encountered bugs in my room, and my tub was clogged for two days. I had to go to the front desk a second time around midnight out of frustration. While I was offered to move to another room, it was too late, and moving everything without my older son's help would have been too much for me. Moving to the second floor was also not an option. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay, especially considering this is a Marriott property.

Would not recommend until repairs are made for ongoing problems noted in other recent reviews. Booked 9 nights in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen. Walked in to no a/c in lobby or hallways. Elevator wasn't working. Walked into a muggy, humid room noting that air flow was minimal in both bedrooms and living area so we turned the thermostat all the way down. Air flow stayed the same. After an hour, the a/c hadn't cooled the room sufficiently so we cancelled our reservation and moved to a different hotel.

Nice. Needs some TLC but it did is job. Elevator was out of service but we were on the 1st floor.
Nearby activities: Very close to everything on the Branson strip.

Worst Marriott property I’ve been too. Elevator was broken, hallway lights broken, exterior doors were broken. The room was damp and humid. It also Had multiple bugs and the window was broken with no locking mechanism and opened up to the parking lot. It was obvious someone had broken into the room.

The staff was very friendly. The airconditioner on the other hand was another story. It was hot in the lobby, in the dining area andnthe hallways. The elevator was out of service. The rooms were nice but could use some bathroom fixing. The shower door was akward as it wouldn't open well because the toilet was in the way. The air conditioning in the room worked fantastic and the bed was comfortable. The room was spacious.

Noteworthy details: Air Conditioning Don't work, 80 degrees in the room. Elevator broke, had to carry luggage up three floors. Hallways dirty, front desk not welcoming!! Stay away!

We are frequent visitors to Residence Inns throughout the country. This visit was somewhat disappointing in that upon checking in, we were told that the elevator was out of service, and had been for several days. As luck would have it, our rooms were located on the third floor. An inconvenience to be sure, (albeit minor as we were physically able to haul our bags up three flights), but to a more elderly guest would have certainly presented a problem.
The rooms are definitely showing signs of wear and tear, particularly the carpet, and the walls are pretty scuffed up.
Stayed 3 nights, asked for room service once and they obliged, but no facial tissue available at anytime during our stay. At $300+ per night, I would think this would be standard issue.
The breakfast buffet is typical; waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurt, coffee. Machine dispensing orange juice was out-of-order during our entire stay.
The rooms were clean, and the staff courteous, but probably would stay elsewhere (for the price) next time.

I came in ready to be disappointed after reviews. Immediately I was impressed by the location - right off of the strip, but in a quiet edge of town. Their parking lot had entrances into the hotel on every side of the building. Sadly their lobby air conditioning was struggling, forcing them to have fans on and stuck in every window in the lobby. The room was easy to cool though, slipping to 68 in no time.
For the beds, we do a check at every hotel for bed bugs and saw nothing in the room we stayed in. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean.
The kitchen was clean from the dishes to the fridge. We were pleased to find a scrub mommy, soap and dish detergent waiting for us to use if we needed.
The bathroom was probably the most untidy part the entire stay. You can tell the wallpaper was worn out, and the caulk needs to be replaced in the shower door and cleaned as it was brown from the mold of being in a shower. We found the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was completely stocked.
There was a large pantry where one could store food, and while we didn’t use it I loved the option. There was also a large closet by the bathroom equipped with shelves and plenty of space to hang clothes.
The breakfast was incredible. It was warm with an attendant cleaning up after a guest would leave a spill or crumbs.
The pool was in a room that had barely any air flow, so we had to make the sad decision to not use it.
It’s a pet friendly hotel, and the staff are very easy going about pets for the $100 fee per stay.
The staff were chatty, and personable. They were kind and seem like good people.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nearby activities: Up the road there is a mini golf course; the aquarium on the boardwalk; within 15 minute drive to Silver Dollar City.
Safety: Felt extremely safe walking my dogs in the local area.
Food & drinks: There are snacks and drink fridges in the lobby available for sale.

Booked 4 nights stayed 3 they never cleaned the room the water was ice cold in the pool dirty hotel
Rooms: Dirty rooms hotel staff said they cleaned the room not cleaned dirty as hell
Safety: Alot of doors left open people can just walk in from the street

Clean rooms, cleaning staff were very friendly. We and one other couple waited extremely too long for someone to come check us in. By the time someone came there were others in line behind us that needed things also. Breakfast was good, they had packaged things as well but tasted good.
Walkability: We walked a lot BUT it is a lot of walking up and down steep inclines.

We booked 6 nights at this hotel with multiple rooms for my son’s wedding party. Our family had a 2 king room suite that we paid over $1200 for and were disappointed from the moment we entered the room. Lamp was broken, carpet was frayed and coming up in multiple rooms of our suite. It had a musty old smell and was overall not very clean.
We chose this hotel over an AirBNB for the housekeeping services- we have a baby and a special needs 8 year old in a wheelchair and thought that having housekeeping services would enable me to enjoy time with the family that all met up for the special occasion. We requested housekeeping EVERY day but only received it 1 and a half times during our 6 nights. I say 1.5 because the second time they only made the beds- did not take trash (2 kids in diapers and the trash gets funky fast) and the trash was piled up waist high in kitchen area- it was gross and I requested service multiple times. The floors were nasty and walking around barefoot resulted in black dirty feet-EEWWW just nasty.
The air conditioner was an issue and maintenance came to the room at 8:30am asking me to place a bucket in the locked ac room where the carpet was soaked and the trash bin the maintenance guy placed there the day before was flooded over into the room. Maintenance guy said our ac was flooding the room below probably from the tiny trash can he placed there to catch the water that overflowed onto the carpet.
Our 1 and a half year old had to be kept off the wet carpet and was not allowed in that room.
Not once did housekeeping tidy the kitchen area and the dishwasher did not work.
Breakfast was mostly prepackaged sausage biscuits or a pre packaged egg frittata that was not very good.
I spoke with the assistant manager about all of our glitches and she was kind enough to provide us with a small amount of bonvoy points but that was all. Our experience was not good. The staff was nice but the hotel and issue are not worth it.
As a special needs mother I was really looking forward to a relaxing week without chores and having a nice clean comfortable room- instead it was ac issues, wet carpet, and a dirty room. Very disappointing. Marriott should pull their flag from this hotel. Not up to Marriott standards

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Kelly was in charge of the breakfast and did an outstanding job keeping the food dishes filled and taking care of the guests. We really enjoyed the breakfast, it was hot and fresh.

Was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. Front desk was great to help me with the bonvoy app at check-in.
Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend
