Just STAY away if you don’t want to be Rip off by them!I have a App that shows every little detail and money I have in my account .My account shows me I had a certain amount in there when everything is coming in .It takes 3 days for pending items .But they’ll charge you a overdraft fee before taking out the pending.Thank goodness this isn’t my regular bank .I’ve never had problems at my other banks .The holds and pending are to rip you off.Common sense people .AVOID this bank !!

Took a $100 bill (cash) to this bank to get change for a customer who was waiting for the change at a small business. First the teller asks for I.D. I'm thinking...counterfeiters must really be getting good when a bank has to ask for ID to cash cash (a 100 bill). Anyway, I give her/Brandi, "one of the mgrs" my I.D. Then after a little while she asked if I have an account there. I said, "No. I just came to the closest bank to get the bill broke into smaller bills because the small business does not have enough cash and business to give the customer change and the customer is waiting." She then said, "Unless the owner of the business or I have an account there, they don't cash bills because they have to document it." When I politely expressed that I found this strange,, she said, "It's normal for banks to do this."I guess it's too much work for them. I went to the next closest bank and they didn't ask me anything; just gave me the change like it was normal. Sure will never open up an account or do business with this Bank. (Not to mention it really ruined my schedule; having to find another bank and kept the poor customer waiting.

The staff has always been exceptional. I love this banks location because of the staff. However, I have to state that I am beyond aggravated that this branch was sold to Branson Bank. I do not want some small town local bank and that was why I originally picked Hawthorn almost 10 years ago. I will be moving my account to a nation wide bank.
