“Fix my ac in two hours, been broke for for a year took it to two other shops in town they said I needed a whole new system for $1400 or more , they got in and out for 800 and I didn't have to leave my car for three days, best service I've had in a long time will for sure be returning for future service, by the way all that was needed was a new compressor”
“My Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk had over 500 dents from hail. They had to replace one window. They stripped and repainted the roof. They replaced all of the window molding. They did a wonderful job.

I was literally stranded, in the rain, with two kids at school... and my nearest family member was over an hour away. They didn’t hesitate to loan me the rental for a few days so I could get back and forth to work. “The very first day of our vacation, the refrigerator in our RV quit working. We called Randy and he was at our campsite within 30 minutes. He had our refrigerator fixed, and was a wealth of information for other questions we had and even some enlightenment for things we had not thought about. All of this after he had dealt with a flooded driveway because of extremely heavy rains during the night at his own home. We expected to pay $100’s for the repair, and he was so reasonable!!! So glad he is the one we called!!! Randy saved the rest of our vacation without breaking the bank. Highly recommend his services!”
“I always go to Pinegar to get my car worked on oil change, mechanical issues, etc. It is no surprise to anyone that the price of hard Goods has gone up in the last year and a half half (thank you so much Joe Biden )! I believe that people at Pinegar Chevrolet try to keep the down) . And I know they have to recoup prices as much as possible. One thing I absolutely disagree with is their service charge on credit cards it is three and a half percent. When I don't have enough money in my bank account to use a check or my debit card I have to rely on my credit cards to make payments and immediately I am charged with a service charge. Last time it was over $30!”

“On vacation and my car overheated on Sunday morning (planned to leave the following Monday morning). Eventually I made it to the body shop parking lot and left a message on the answering machine because they were closed. I followed up Monday at 0800, right when they opened, talked to Pat and explained my situation. He called me back a little while later, explained what he thinks it would take to get me home ( Central Illinois about a 7 hour drive) safely and provided a reasonable quote for parts/service. He stayed in contact with me throughout the day and even admitted that he had accidentally ordered the wrong part and that ETA would be later in the day. I appreciate the honesty and the open communication! Car was finished after business hours, he called to ask if they could keep it overnight so they can test drive for a final inspection in the morning. At this point, I had already committed to staying an extra night so this didn't bother me. However, I'm sure if I needed to leave that night, he would have stayed later so that I could've picked up my car - he's just that type of person/business owner.When I checked out, there were a few more things that they saw needed some maintenance. If I lived in this area or had the time to stay longer, this is where I would have my car serviced. My experience supports what most of the other reviews mentioned. Good service, great communication, reasonable prices and overall great experience (considering the situation).”
“We made an appointment to have our tires balanced. Upon going in today they informed us that our locking lug-nut chuck was striped out on the inside. They were not comfortable removing the tires. Thank them for finding the problem. Went to the Jeep dealership to get a new chuck for the locking lug-nuts. That is another review. Great people to work with.”
