Highly disappointed with the post office in boonville mo. We did a change of address 2 weeks before we moved into our new house and they had put our mail on hold. 4 days before moving into our new home I went down to the post office personally to tell them to go ahead and stop holding our mail and to send to the new address. They acknowledge my request and said everything was good. 2 months into our new house and they are still saying our change of address is no good. We have been waiting on important mail. Saying we needed to come in with a photo ID to verify the change of address when I already came in 2 months ago. Lady at post office very rude said well we weren't doing verification then. So how the heck does it change 2 months later. Unprofessional and unorganized.

If your website says your open until 4:30 and the lights are out and doors locked at 4:20, it’s no wonder the USPS is considered the worst.

Just love Boonville post office. Always helpful and as suggestions about sending boxes or even offering smaller or larger boxes. Very friendly and always telling me what new stamps that just arrived. They always ask Do you need any stamps today?

This is the cutest post office! They have black wrought iron fence inside and the gentleman who was at the counter (Richard) was so polite. I just stopped by on my way to an appointment. I don’t even live in Boonville. Very clean and friendly.
