Terrible place. It is 2:30 pm. All trailer are locked and nobody is talking to you. Sales man is sitting in another trailer and doesn't want to help.

5 stars is an understatement. If you're looking for an RV and it seems too good to be true, it's probably Legacy RV in Bonne Terre - and it's legit (my experience)! I spent weeks looking for a good price on a Momentum, then out of the blue I saw a newly posted add on RV trader that couldn't be right. I immediately sent an email to the add and received a call later that evening from Bob Harney. I put a deposit down and a week later drove half way across the country to see it with my own eyes.Amazing price, customer service, honest recommendations, amazing walkthrough with some great Techs, assistance (patience) with a payment delay, stayed two hours after closing on a Friday to get me on the road, sent warranty parts for things I didn't even know we're coming...The list goes on.Bottom line, if they have it and you want it, call or go see Bob Harney and see what he and his team can do.

Go with your gut. This place screamed red flags from the get go. Very disorganized, poor communication, and un-called for fees. I fell in love with a camper and was whiling to look past all the red flags for this camper I loved. They gave me a "really good deal" on the camper of my dreams but failed to address or point out all of the potential issues with the camper. I waited another week for a lien release to come in. I had to call daily for updates. The day it finally came in I told them I was on the way to finish the deal -cash in hand....But I had to wait because Fred wasn't there... I was told time and time again that they go through everything thoroughly to make sure it all works. When I questioned the seals that were obviously damaged, I was told they only make sure things work mechanically -that anything else would be extra or not really their concern. I was redirected by Fred clarifying the deal was actually an "as is" sale. There was a $200 document fee, which I was ok with, however there was a $995 post delivery inspection fee that was supposed to cover the cost of cleaning, and preparing the camper to be delivered. I verified this was complete, then asked to check the camper. I was told to take pictures of any issues I find with the camper, 10 pictures, 5 bugs, and 2 potato chips later, I was advised that the cleaning part of the inspection actually hadn't been done..... Obviously. The service department was very friendly Brittany alone had such a good helpful attitude that made me want to come back and ignore red flags because she was really the only one I trusted. She was very knowledgeable and honest After telling her my concerns she went straight out side to fix the issue herself, which is attitude and motivation I can appreciate....She is the only person in that establishment that I felt I could genuinely trust. However the next call I had with Fred showed me the true standards of this company. I ran straight to Parkland RV in Park Hills and left 2 hours later with a fantastic deal on a very comparable camper that I was shown every nook and cranny of and left assured that I would have no imediate issues, leaks, or problems! I should have started in Park Hills I regret wasting so much time with such a fuss in Bonne Terre at Legacy RV.

When Legacy RV of Bonne Terre said "Our prices won't be beat" on their website, they mean it. No other dealer within atleast 5 hours could come close to their price. The RV was missing the trifold sleeper sofa, but Bob Harney was able to secure us one so we could leave with a complete trailer. There was a minor hiccup in the finance dept which took longer than expected. They more than made things right and we were able to secure financing at a good rate. Overall, the experience has been great so far! I would recommend looking at Legacy RV for your next trailer!

Fred, Taylor and Dalton were all amazing people to do business with! They made you feel comfortable and important! They were very down to earth and respectable individuals and never put too much pressure on you to “buy today”. Their communication was quick and honest, which we really appreciated. By the time you walk out of there you feel like you’ve known them for years. They took the time to listen to our needs and wants and bent over backwards to meet them. Even the service people were extremely friendly, especially Brittany! I would highly recommend buying from Legacy RV! Not only do they have a large amount of campers to chose from, but their customer service puts them over the top!! You’d be crazy not to check out their inventory and meet the amazing crew that run the place! We ended up purchasing a grand design imagine XLS 22 MLE which we absolutely love!! Thank you Legacy RV!!!!

I had a very good experience buying from the Bonne Terre, Legacy RV guys. Taylor Hampton did a lot of work and research for me to help me get the RV that I wanted, as well as give me a price, and trade in value, that I could walk away happy with. Taylor was great! The service guys were also great in setting me up and getting me out of there. Tim, one of the service guys, was very good at his job and very helpful/friendly, as well as patient with me. Like I said, a very good buying experience with these guys!

No pressure sales. Everything was on the up and up. Maybe better internet to print paperwork. The finance manager Fred was very personable. The prep and support team lead by Tim blew my mind. A few glitches, but everyone stayed Chilly and made "IT" work.

My experience with Legacy RV in Bonne Terre Mo started out good and ended in disaster. All of this occurred in July 2022. My salesman, Fred, was actually the finance manager. He was very polite and helpful but his sales approach was very stressful high pressure sales. I did not make a purchase that day although I found a trailer that I dearly loved. When I returned in 2 days to see a different trailer, as the one I really wanted was sold, I was treated with a cold shoulder by Fred and dismissed as if I was irrelevant. There are a lot of details that I am not sharing but I did go to Legacy RV in Festus MO and was treated much better! Jake, the sales manager, and Bob, the salesperson, were very professional and helpful. If I had met them first I would probably have made my purchase with Legacy RV. As it is I purchased the RV that I originally loved at a different dealership. I no longer felt like I could trust Legacy RV to give me the best deal or service that I would need for my trailer as both lots are owned by the same person. A couple of very important things that I have to share: I was given inaccurate information by Fred stating that I needed to make a security deposit of $2,500 that was non-refundable. I have since found out that Missouri does not allow non-refundable deposits. Also, I did sign a credit application but asked Fred not to run my credit until I called him the next day. Not only did he run my credit but he also ran my husband's, a hard hit. Needless to say my husband is quite upset and I am not sure what steps we will take from here. The only reason I did give this company one star is because of the help and service I received in Festus.

Please!! reconsider choosing this dealership for a camper purchase. My wife and I "purchased" a zinger lite from the Bonne Terre dealership after a few day discussion about details of the purchase and financing. First of all I would warn anyone crazy enough to consider this dealership to make sure that they do not charge you a pre delivery inspection fee. (Nearly $1000). Completely ridiculous up charge that they will add if you do not catch. My wife and I did the inspection, signed papers, and brought the camper home on the 22nd of April. We immediately began purchasing items in preparation for the soonest possible trip as anyone would do. After 2 weeks my wife was alerted about an inquiry on her credit, and after immediately making calls to the finance company involved we learned that Legacy was continuing to apply for financing. We call the finance company on the paperwork we have and learn that the loan was rejected on the 17th due to an error in the application. In most cases an honest mistake. Not for Fred at Legacy. Fred failed to notify us that we didn't have financing on the camper for nearly 2 weeks! He also took it upon himself to continue running our credit in order to fix it without our knowledge (illegal practice). He let us pull it home and spend a large amount of money on camp reservations, an insurance policy, a 12,000 lb hitch, and everything you put in your first camper all while possessing it illegitimately on paper. It took me multiple tries to contact him regarding the issue. It took another 4 days for the owner to finally speak with me after multiple requests only to apologize for their mistake and tell me that they will remember it moving forward. The worst of this experience was telling my children that we weren't going camping, and tucking our tail in front of friends, family, and social media. We were left feeling humiliated because the deal was not done, the dealership wouldn't do whatever it took to correct their mess, and leaving us at a loss both financially and emotionally. We had a finance option that would allow us to keep the camper and chose against it mostly due to the incredible lack of professionalism from the dealership. Regardless of the situation, there is no excuse for the way this was handled by any dealership. The decision to tell them to come get the camper was made on Friday May 13th before their business opened at 9am. The camper sat on my driveway until Tuesday morning the following week when I had it towed at the dealers expense. The camper is a 2022 crossroads zinger lite zr270bh. Please do not let them tell you it is new because it isn't. Certificate of origin is attached. I hope this never happens to anyone especially first time buyers.

First Review 5/30/2021: Taylor with Tim and his crew were so fantastic to work with. Great deal on a Reflection 5th wheel. We came from out of town and they helped us get it all set up. Quickest finance experience EVER- thanks Keith!UPDATE 5/3/2022: McDowell S RV changed ownership to Legacy RV, I have been trying to resolve warranty issues with Grand Design and the Dealer. Trying to get the dealership to help AFTER the sale has been non-existent. The PDI, that should have happened, I found out was not done with us and Brittany on the new Legacy dealership team noted that they had to fix some "problems" from the McDowell days. Needless to say, we have spider cracks on the front cap edge in two places and a delamination on the rear of the RV that we cannot get any help resolving. Beware for the standard get the sale then forget the customer experience unfortunately.
