Poor supervision. Manipulative leadership.

They kicked my kid out of daycare because he walked out of an already opened door to the main room. 5 min later they said he opened the door, just to cover their tracks. Kicked my kid out because they failed at supervision, and lied about it.

I was hoping to send my two toddlers here. They told us they would have availability within the month everything seemed to be going fine until I let them know my child had autism. The director told me he would have to come in for a few hours to see if it would be a good fit. He came in and everything went well. After filling out paperwork we didn't hear anything back. We called and asked what was going on they said teachers quit and they would get back with. My husband called again a month later and they said the same thing and that they would get back with us. It's been almost a year and no one ever gotten back with us. I feel that everything was going well until I mentioned my son's disability. I can tell in how actions and conversations changed with the director. This was very hurtful and discouraging being that this was the first daycare I tried enrolling my son in after learning of his disability.

Just a heads-up: they kindly called me to inform me they would be happy to take my school aged child, but they do not have any enrolled there and my child would be in a pre-school room. So not a good location for anyone with kids older than 5 years of age. They have great customer service though!

Both of my children have attended La Petite and as a parent I truly couldn’t imagine bringing them anywhere else. The teachers are so caring to each child’s individual needs & communicate with parents exceptionally. The best feeling is knowing that your children are safe, and La Petite in Blue Springs provides that safe feeling.

My child has attended La Petite in Blue Springs for over a year and we have always been satisfied with his care, education, and professionalism shown to all of us. They were open during the Covid shut down and that was so important to my family as we are healthcare workers and construction industry employees. They take all neccessary precautions that are asked of them with the changes we have all had to make due to this as well. It is affordable, clean, and we all love the interactions we share with this academy.

Our children began attending La Petite as infants. They have only ever received wonderful care from all of their teachers. If we've ever had conflict, it was quickly resolved by the administration.La Petite truly provides excellent care and education to their students.

My daughter has been at LPA since she was 3 months old and she loves it there. The staff is always very nice and keep me well informed on what is going on with my child throughout the day. LOVE THIS PLACE!! We moved three months ago and know I can't tell you how much I miss our previous daycare. I wish there were a LPA in my current location!

before i began my story I just wanted to add that I started getting concerned for my son when i walked in to drop him off and these lady's are holding this little girl down in the office and won't let her move anywhere and yelling at her cause she wanted to so badly to go home) (maybe I walked in at bad timing. i dont know) things went for like his first few days. Then my son was complaining about how kids were pushing him, hitting him, throwing toys at him. And this was constent until I had enough and told the mary lady that was blonde. She was decent about it. But, let me add that Timmy has had way better experiences with kids and his teachers at his other schools then he has at this school.weve never dealt with so much from a school ever before until we came here many accident reports.i get that there's alot of accidents when you play for awhile.but, one day my son had a horrible gash in his lip that looked terrible and it had me question. Then I hear from my mother that he doesn't want to go to school he doesn't like the way the kids treat him. we noticed that my son started getting quiet and not talkative my boy is a very talkative kid.so my son had knew things to share with his grandma saying that kids hit him at school.but, like it's normal to him. So I was livid. So I go there and talked politely and told her what's going on and the brunette Crissy I think that's her name. Had a horrible attitude towards me. I felt harrassed.she wouldn't even let me speak much ,voice my concerns much, she was raising her voice just to talk over me.and she turned the situation around on my 4 year old. Basically saying none of the kids are mean to him, saying he's the one starting it. And she never sees the kids mess with him. (I find hard to believe cause kids aren't perfect they have their moments and same as my son) mary the other lady said to me the same thing and raised her voice and got an attitude .the way they talked about my son..said horrible things about my 4 year old they acted like they were out to get him. And he's 4. Had nothing nice to say about my son. As if my son's this terrible kid and all the other kids are innocent.they both acted like they weren't even concerned for my kid or what I was worried about trying to talk to them. My son crying everyday not wanting to even go to school. In my mind I would have thought 4 year olds would be excited to attend school. I'm his mother and I know when something's off. My son won't even talk about his day at school. It's like as if he wasn't him self. So I decided to take him out of school that Thursday,Friday,Monday, and Tuesday. I've noticed my son's attitude is much different. Patterns started to changeand was happy more and so doing that made me realize I had to take him out of this school. So my family is religious and my son once again is 4 years old was mentioning his religious views about his God. And one teacher told him it was pretend or made up. I tried to also mention that to the brunette but she has been so rude and snobby towards me and my mother and most defenantly my son. I would have to say those front desk lady's should not be with children with the attitudes they have make me feel uncomfortable.and not to mention my mom has walked into pick my son up and this little girl was pushing my son and the teachers weren't doing a thing about it. They tell me and my mother it's just how they play....NOT!!! just plumb mean and bulling. I just say this cause we had a horrible experience with my baby being in there. It has been a nightmare. I don't want anybody to experience what me,my mother and my boy had to deal with with this....place.i wouldn't recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

We have been so blessed by La Petite Academy of Blue Springs. The staff is both professional and loving. Knowing my child is with these loving and caring individuals who are concerned about her safety, well-being, health and development makes it easier as a Mom to send her to daycare each day. I feel welcome and cared about as a parent when I walk in and leave with my child at the end of the day, and the staff does an incredible job of keeping parents updated with photos, eating, schedule and activities throughout the day. I feel involved in my child's care, which is such a gift. We HIGHLY recommend this location to those looking for affordable, professional, and high-quality care for their children. Two thumbs up!

We absolutely LOVE this daycare. We had to suddenly pull our daughter from her previous daycare due to abuse to another child so with those circumstances we were super nervous about sending her to another daycare but this has been one of the best decisions we have made as parents. Our daughter loves this daycare and her teacher Ms. Briana so much (she never stops talking about her). She learns so much and they have an awesome app they use to keep you updated throughout the day. I will always recommend this daycare!

I enrolled my oldest daughter in La Petite when I went back to work from maternity leave seven years ago and for the past 7 years, we've had nothing but positive experiences. I'm so thankful to have a team of caring people that have loved on my kids and helped prepare them for kindergarten and beyond!

We have been at this location with our children for the past 5 years and absolutely LOVE it! The teachers and staff are all wonderful, and truly love our kids which makes me feel so comfortable leaving them in their care while I'm away! We could not have picked a better place and would ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare!
