There are a few things I really like about price chopper.
1. They have good produce
2. When they have sales they have plenty of stock unlike some grocery stores
3. They also have a good liquor selection

Well stocked and clean. Good hot deli before 3 pm. After that it can be less good but still usually better than the fast food joints at that intersection. I was able to find a few things here which are not carried by the other local grocers so maybe look here if you are having trouble locating that special victual.

I like to come in here on Wednesdays when they have discounted sushi on sale. Typically some varieties of California roll are on sale, and a few other options.
I'm usually in and out very quickly, both with self checkout and when being helped at a register.
Staff is very friendly.

The carts are not maintained properly and three wheels are the norm. I buy chicken, from the deIl, at least three times a week and it is rare to find the styrofoam boxes to put them in. That is the hot buffet chefs reserve box number 8327, You have to hail; down a busy person working in the deli to get a paper box and then put a proper seal on it. Wasted employee time and customer consternation. A little common sense logistics would HELP!

I've been going to price chopper for over 30 years. Today the customer service woman tried to humiliate me in front of everyone. I used self check out, she thought I stole something so she called to me loudly coming from around the counter as I'm exiting the store. So she wants me to follow her back to the self check out. So I do, then right before we get there she says nevermind. I said oh you thought I was stealing. If they are going to stop people maybe try not yelling so everyone turns to look at me when I have done nothing!

At first I was afraid; I was petrified.
I kept looking at all the meats, too hard to decide.
But then Miss Kim from the Deli
showed me turkey, garlic smelly,
I was thru
I came back for a pound or two
oh now GO
With pineapple ham
I can't begin to tell you just how happy that I am,...
And so on and so forth; you get the idea. Ms Kim is great.

Great place but prices are getting outrageous. The drinks are the same price as a gas station!! Everything is up 10 cents this week.

They compare to Hyvee in pricing but I prefer hyvee because thier Isles have rhyme and reason I wonder around the middle isles looking for what I need

Nice store with full shelves and everything you expect to see. The parking is congested and challenging but manageable. They are seemingly never out of anything. The store is laid out nicely and has a bakery, deli and liquor department. I only have one real problem with this store, the meat department. It is standard these days to wait up to 10 minutes standing alone at the counter waiting for help. But, this has been going on for years and not just this visit. Worse if there are other customers. So great store with a meat department staffed and managed to destroy all the great vibes you get in every other part of the store. As such, I usually shop elsewhere.
