“A1 Berkeley is my go to store. They're in my neighborhood, close to work and home, but it's their selection and prices that keep me coming back. From a variety of red and white wines to many types of whiskeys and beer, to saki and plum wine, they have it all. My tastes are diverse and they satisfy them. The staff is helpful, professional and polite as well. And again their prices beat most other stores in the city.”
“The clerk was so nice! He made sure I had everything I wanted or needed before I left and asked me to being friends along when I showed up next time! And tbh, I will. It's refreshing to visit a convenience store and not be followed around like I'm gonna steal something. He even conversed with me about how much I enjoyed my job. I work at a popular breakfast chain darn near next door to them and he made sure I got back inside my job's doors before he went back to his job. Awesome people!!! I will be back and be spending more money than I honestly have. ?”
“I've been wanting to visit this store after my son raved about it. Very unique items, including some liquor and mixes. Excellent and large selection of bar accessories drinkware. Cocktail classes sell out quickly! Very nice owners, too.”

“This has been my go to place to get wine and seafood. I have been going here since Bob seafood closes. They sell fresh tuna and salmon that I tend to eat sashimi style. They taste pretty good. The prices seem decent as well. There is also other food items here, however I have not try anything else beside seafood here yet.”
“Seriously, who doesn't love Dirt Cheap?I do have a request of sorts. I found that the selection of non-alcoholic drinks was seriously limited. I buy cigarettes there, but don't drink alcohol. I would like to see a bigger selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I have no idea where you would put it, but that's my thought.”

“7 years since I found this spot, and can confirm that nothing has changed in the best way - they've enhanced their offerings further as their business has expanded. The sandwiches are phenomenal, all served on their house made bread with house smoked meats. The wine & beer selection is unique, varied, and accessible to all. They have a variety of NA options and spirits as well. The staff goes above and beyond to help you find whatever you may need. And the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home. Will continue to shop here for years to come.”
“We were pleasantly amazed! My son wanted fun, unique cheeses for his 21st birthday. Vivian was wonderful! She was very humble about her cheese knowledge, but amazed us with all kinds of information about each cheese, taste-wise and practical! She was kind and upbeat and offered my party of 4 samples for each cheese in which my son was interested. We ended up buying about 8 different kinds, and my son mentioned making The Wine and Cheese Place a regular stop in the future. I was also impressed that Vivian was always positive no matter what size we needed the cheese cut! We were thoroughly impressed with The Wine and Cheese Place on New Ballas Rd!”
“Been coming here for over 20 years. The owner, Mr Mitchell has a certain way he likes to take care of his customers and one is that he sells the coldest beer in town and makes the freshest ice. His ice is literally the best ice ever. The entire family are warm and welcoming to every patron that walks in the store.”

“Always love shopping at World Market as you can find so many interesting things there! Was able to find some stuff to finish up my Christmas shopping. There is a wide variety of items with lots of different options that would be hard to find somewhere else. Even though we went on the Sunday after Black Friday, staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing docking a star is that some of the aisles are tight to get through. I have to use a cane/crutch for mobility purposes and it was a tight fit trying to go through a couple aisles especially if I was trying to get to one side so someone else could walk by. It would have been even worse if I had been in my wheelchair as some aisles I would not have been able to go down as I doubt it would have fit. Other than that, the store is great and fun to shop through.”

“The proprietor was very kind and helpful.... he had a little problem with his internet connection , and it didn't take long to fix at all and thru in a couple bourbon glasses for free for the inconvenience..... which like I said it really was a very short time..
