The cashiers need to be better trained. 75% of the time I have to ask for the cashier to let me tell them my number to get my gas rewards. Tonight was their 10% off for whatever you could fit in their brown bag. Also, did not get the 10% off after reviewing my receipt and questioning the cashier. The cashier laughed off her mistake and told me to go to customer service. After waiting at customer service and the two managers goofing around for 5 minutes or so I decided it's more convenient NOT to shop at Hy-Vee for future needs.

I have been shopping here a while and always get taken care of. Today though was the first time I have tried the online delivery option and on my end there was a few hiccups, I called and the employees answering the phone were super nice and helpful and once again Hy-Vee took care of me and got my order straightened out.

Last month we placed an order in the floral department for a replica of my mom's wedding corsage for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary vow renewal ceremony. We provided numerous pictures of the corsage and felt satisfied with the order. Yesterday my sister arrived for the corsage and was told they had no idea what she was talking about. However, since the vow renewal ceremony was planned for today, my sister was reassured they would make the corsage this morning, first thing, and it would be ready in the morning. Again, no corsage! My brother-in-law was given a hastily put together corsage while he waited this morning. I do not recommend this place!

I try to avoid this location all together. I went to the deli to order chicken salad and all of the food looked like it had been there for weeks, maybe months. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if they really sell it when it looks unappealing like that. He literally brushed me off and walked away. This location has went down hill in the last year.

This morning as it was snowing and the wind was blowing like crazy a man, who I believe was the manager, asked if I wanted him to wait with my cart full of groceries while I pulled the car up and offered to load the car. Although we were waiting on my husband to pull up I was, and still am thankful for the kind offer! Prior to this conversation I overheard him speaking with a coworker and both were talking very highly of a younger coworker for his work ethic. This isnt something you hear often!

They lost a script for controlled med. Took week before they admitted to losing it. 2 months later on another script I had to keep calling every 3 days for update while they said they were waiting for insurance appoval. On 10th day they said i had old insurance info. Nothing had changed with insurance in 5 years. Then it was script exceeded insurance maximum. They knew that from day 1 but never notified the DR or me. Script says name brand, they were trying to fill as generic. Insurance only covered name brand. Asked for the script back and took them another 30 mins to find it. Not worth the $0.05/ gal in fuel savings.
