Love this place, the ladies at this facility really care and it shows. We got our baby Krai here and couldn't be happier. We will be back for a friend for him.

I took in two stray cats, one of which appeared to have frostbite on a paw, the day before we were forecasted to have -30 degree windchills. I thought I would have them for a very short time before they’d be taken to a shelter. Little did I know how hard it would be to find a place to take them. I literally spent an entire day calling all around the metro, and this was the only place that was willing to help. Not even animal control would. It’s obvious they actually care about cats and are just kind people.

HELP is a wonderful shelter for cats and sometimes smaller dogs that has a long track record and an excellent reputation in our community. They operate from a big heart for pets that have no other hope. They operate on a tight budget and lots of volunteers. They stretch everything to cover as many animals as possible. There will always be more that they can’t help. Please remember this is a charitable organization and help if you can.

Thanks to everyone especially Christina for your kindness and helping me adopt a sweet fur baby. She is so sweet and loving and loves her new home. What an amazing place and people taking wonderful care of homeless pets. ??

They are so kind hearted helping so many kitties. I visited because they helped me save some kitties after their owner passed away and they were left on their own for weeks. Now they are ready to be adopted to go to new homes thanks to Help Humane.

Horrible experience. Called to talk to them about a cat. They said not to worry since I had turned in an adoption application, and I would get priority. Instead they gave me the run around and then asked if I would take a different cat. So, instead of choosing a cat that fits well with us and our family, they just wanted to sell me on any old cat like they were running a sale on two for one. This place is super shady. And does not seem in a hurry to actually adopt the cats out to actual loving homes. They just want to get rid of as many as they can to anyone. And if you are not willing to take more than one, you are denied. By the sound of some of these other reviews, they aren't in very humane conditions either.

Been going there for years. Taking food, money and old linens. Love visiting the cats. Very well thought out shelter. Lots of blankets, beds, litter boxes, water stations, toys and dry food.
