The store manager, Dyrell? (he refused to spell it), was the most unprofessional store employee I’ve ever encountered at this location. Upon entering the store, I asked the young man at the register (not the manager) where the bathroom was and he pointed me in the direction. I thanked him. I browsed the Hey Dude selection for quite a while and purchase 2 pairs, spending $134 in total. I then headed towards the bathroom, only to find they were locked with a keypad. I headed back up to the register and requested the code. Dyrell then told me they do not have public restrooms. At this point, after making a purchase, I am not the public, I am a PAYING CUSTOMER! I stated that the other young man had told me where the facilities were when I first entered the store and I requested the code for a 2nd time. Dyrell then rudely reiterated that they do not have public restrooms but that “the store next door does.” He was talking about Jersey Mike’s, where I was not a paying customer. All the while, two separate, locked restrooms were sitting unoccupied in back the corner. Frustrated at his rude demeanor and extremely unprofessional customer service skills, I exited the store. My boyfriend (who drove to the location separately) then re-entered the store to ask for the manager’s information. The manager stated it was Dyrell but would not spell it or provide a last name. I was not aware he had even provided a first name, as I was no longer inside the store, so I had already called the store to retrieve his name and employee number. Dyrell refused to provide any information and hung up on me. Twice actually, as well as told me to call 911 for help. I then called Famous Footwear headquarters to issue a complaint that will be sent to the district manager. I am expecting a return call next week. I’d honestly like to return the shoes and never shop at the store again but I don’t want to deal with him and I refuse to drive to another location. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, angry that he was working on a Saturday, or just hates his life in general, but he’s definitely not suited to be working with the public if he doesn’t know how to speak to customers or extend kindness.

Closed at 5 o clock on a Saturday. Even though store hours are supposed to be until 8pm. Really nice ?

Pulled up at 6:58pm and store hours is open until 7pm. Sorry for arriving at almost closing time but it wasn't, yet the lady inside rushes to the door to lock it in a hurry to keep my wife and I out. We knew exactly what we wanted and wouldnt keep anybody waiting... Terrible customer service.

Picked up a pair of Nike shoes and a week later they started squeaking. Called the store and they said bring ‘em in and exchange them for whatever other shoes. In this day and age it’s not common to get that kind or service. I’ll definitely be shopping here from shoes from here on.

I do not recommend shopping at the Belton Famous footwear. They have horrible customer service on their 1-800 phone number. I was double charged $205.45 in store and they are saying this did not happen. I have proof. So if you want to still have your hard earned money I do not recommend buying from Famous footwear

Daughter drove 45 miles to get her boys shoes, when we walked in we were told we close in 15 minutes, we were aware if that but she came to buy 2 pair of shoes, and knew thier sizes and style they liked, while trying on shoes the guy came back again to inform us we close in 10 minutes.. We got both boys shoes before the closing time, but felt VERY under valued as a customer the way we were being pushed out the door!

Just wanted a new pair of all white classic court Nikes. Lady was very helpful and selection was amazing! I still left with my all white Nikes but got very tempted by the new styles!
