I purched a used Rt178CLast weekend from Inland Marine. I was treated very well. Couldn't ask for better customer service. I know it wasn't a high doller vessel. But I felt like I was treated like it was a high-end machine.Thank you for helping me.Jim I.

The staff is very knowledable and helpful throughout the purchasing process. As first time boat owners we had a lot of questions and they were quick to respond. The actual closing was quick and efficient.

Inland Marine knows how to sell boats and that's it. If you buy a boat from him be prepared to get NO customer support if you have an issue. If he is unable to fix the issue he will consider you a problem and tell you to go somewhere else to get it fixed. My son bought a brand new boat from Jim Dooley , has had nothing but problems with the Mercury Motor and the upgraded expensive trolling motor. Jim Dooley's mechanics were unable to fix the issue and we were told to take it somewhere else. I had a tuneup , lights and a radio put in by Jim Dooley on my pontoon boat. When he delivered it I noticed a blue light on the radio and asked if that would drain the battery and he said NO. It did drain the battery and I had to buy a new battery. When I called Jim and talked to him about it he said he would fix it . His fix was to install a kill switch in the bottom of the swim deck. Which means you have to crawl into the compartment to get to the switch to turn it on or off. He then charged me a trip fee & a charge for more labor . Jim should of known the radio would drain the battery & the proper install would of been to mount a switch under the dash at installation. Stay clear of Inland Marine - Jim Dooley is there to make a buck and that's it! My sons first boat purchase has become a nightmare because of Jim Dooley owner of Inland Marine !! Stay away !! Do Not buy from Inland Marine !!!!

Had my boat and trailer winterized and "Serviced".. my 1st trip to the lake this season, ended up with a blow out on trailer, "Caused by a BAD BEARING". After tearing it apart Myself, I noticed none of them had been greased or serviced at all..Then when I went back to purchase new bearings from them, "They sold me the WRONG ONES"Beyond aggravated, if your gonna neglect my trailer that way, Certainly not going to trust you with my BOAT..

We took our boat to Inland Marine for normal maintenance & repairs. Our boat was clean, dry, & in good condition prior to dropping it off. When we got our boat back, our rear sun deck latches were broke out from the wood, interior was disgusting & had greasy foot prints all over the interior. Our bilige area was soaked with fresh oil & power steering fluid. They had performed a full inspection of our main drive & said it needed a gimbal ring & upper shaft. I said to go ahead & replace the ring, bearing, bellows, and anything else that could be done since everything was going to be removed & disassembled. When we got our boat back I noticed a 5" crack in the bell housing of the lower unit. I spoke to Jim (owner) and he said he would pay to have the boat repaired at OPC Marine to make things right & to keep us happy. We took the boat directly over to OPC where they called Jim to process payment to order parts. He denied the repair & said he would only pay for it if the piece completely broke. Upon further conversations, he then offered to order the part so I could have it repaired wherever we choose. I waited a week & never heard anything back. I messaged him today & asked about the part. He said he wasn't going to do anything because he thinks our boat would be just fine if we decided to run the boat. We spend almost $3200 for repairs to our boat & we left with more problems, a greasy boat, & a very disgusted taste in our mouths about the people at Inland Marine.
