Staff is always pleasant and great customer service. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions you have.

If you have to speak to pharmacist, Matthew Marian don’t expect to be treated very kindly. He doesn’t have a very good customer service attitude. He can be very rude. He can be very abrupt and he can be very condescending. He shouldn’t be working in a customer service base job unless they teach him better customer service he likes to talk down to people and he treats people like he is smarter than them and better than them

About 3 months ago I switched to Walgreens because of the poor service and rude attitude that’s me and my family were continuing to get from the male pharmacist. After reading all the reviews I can now put a name to the face. Today I was grocery shopping for the holidays and Mathew decided he was line director and yelled at a 70 year old man for standing in the wrong place. He could have said it in a nicer way but instead of addressing him as “sir”. He proceeded to yell at him and call him buddy in probably the most condescending voice I’ve heard in my 22 years of life. If you thought about switching to this pharmacy I highly suggest you don’t. Customer service isn’t hard I’ve been doing it since I was sixteen and have never once talked to someone the way he did.

Would give Matthew a zero if I could. I honestly cannot believe he is a pharmacist. I plan to call CVS corporate. I have never experienced such rudeness! Do not go to this pharmacy!

I read a lot of complaints about both CVS and Walgreens, but I have never had a bad experience at CVS-1393 Big Bend location (my primary pharmacy). I just had my flu and Covid vaccines on 11/1 and was super impressed with Gabrielle—such a positive attitude.

Matthew, the pharmacist, is in the wrong profession. If you have an appt for a vaccine you have to get there 5-10 minutes early or you are “late” and he will make you wait at least 30 minutes. I walked up to the counter at 3:02, my appt was at 3. By the time I was “helped”, it was 3:04. It is now 3:34 and I’m still sitting here waiting for my vaccine. He told me he was swamped and I watched him behind the counter, flirting with young workers and being horrible to someone on the phone. I watched him interact with people and found he is WAY nicer to men. This was my first time at this pharmacy and I won’t be back. I just read all the other reviews and can’t understand how this man is still employed. He purposely made me wait for this vaccine for 30+ minutes just because he could. What a sad existence.

If I could give zero stars I would. I go out of my way to not use this pharmacy. If I’m forced to due to my patients requests I try to call on days when Mathew is not working. I have been a medical professional over 25 years and HAVE NEVER encountered a person as rude as Mathew. The nurses here refuse to call in prescriptions to him. More than once he has literally brought them to tears, SO unnecessary! Why would you have someone like this working for your company much less in a leadership position? Terrible!

I do not typically post things but the male pharmacist is terrible at the Twin Oaks location. I am assuming he is the one(Matthew?) with all the above comments. He refused to take the script as he had four minutes before closing for lunch and his attitude alone was enough to not want to go back there. I went to Mercy’s pharmacy at Dierberg’s and was done in less than a minute. I just hope he enjoyed his quick lunch break as his service was awful. He should not be dealing with customers. I will not be going back.

Wow Matthew!! You should really be proud of your self with all these reviews. My mother is in her mid 70's and has informed me of multiple encounters with the male; lead pharmacist named Matthew. My mom experienced the climax of his harassment and hatred on 9/27/2023 when she went to pick up a script. She was standing at the counter waiting and a tech was getting her medication, the pharmacy tech then went to the drive thru window to assist another person. My mom was a pharmacy tech and has worked in the service industry and understands that pharmacies are busy and short staffed. She reports while she was waiting another staff member that was assisting with flu shots asked her if she was being helped, my mom responded; yes the other lady was helping me, but had to go help someone at the drive thru window. My mother then describes Matthew coming over and yelling at her about how she needs to be patient and lecturing about their procedures and protocol; assuming my mom was complaining. He then informed my mother she is a patient, not a customer and informed her to no longer come back to the pharmacy. This is a very interesting comment to make regarding her being a "patient". Are you referring to her being a patient because of the medication she was picking up?A month prior to that, my mom was leaving out of the state for vacation. My mom needed a vacation over-ride for her medication and the dr office already approved the early fill. Matt proceeds to tell my mother that her doctor should not be prescribing her a benzodiazepine and she is a risk for falls and blurred vision. My mother has been taking a low dose of a benzo for over 30 years. SO sorry to break your confidence, but Matt if you have concerns regarding medications she is being prescribed, then call the provider and discuss your concerns. She has not had any falls and yes, education is your job as a pharmacist, but you were not doing med education in good faith. She takes a low dose as prescribed. Too bad it looks like you can't communicate with providers either with a prior review you received. Furthermore, my mother has also described Matthew telling her that drive thru people get served first by the pharmacy tech. I'm not sure why you feel being demeaning and arrogant is professional behavior to display. I feel bad for your staff that has to work with you, must be pretty miserable. It sounds like you should really think about how you treat others and if this is the correct job for you.My question is what is wrong with you to treat people with so much disrespect? What are you compensating for? My mother is in her mid 70s, she is active and a kind person that doesn't deserve to be treated like an idiot. No one should ever be treated like this and sounds like this is a daily occurrence for you. How could your upper management not follow up with these continuous complaints? A call was placed to CVS to file a complaint. My mother had to use CVS prior due to her insurance preference, but was able to have her prior coworkers she worked with transfer her non controlled medications over to their pharmacy. On the bright side, least I know that she will be taken care of with dignity going forward.Just an update: my mother received a call from a director that said she would talk to Matthew. The director stated, "all his staff absolutely love him." Well, then you have a huge culture problem; if it's acceptable to treat people like trash. We will be moving forward with calling MO pharmacy board.Surprise, surprise Matthew, you managed to get two additional one star review in a week timeframe. Something is wrong with you, I would advise to see where your anger is coming from. Maybe you should focus on psych meds for yourself, but on the other hand, medications really can't help your "behavior." Keep up the good work.Do better Matthew.

Giving this 3 stars because there’s a new blonde I’ve seen twice now, Brittney. She smiles and has a good attitude unlike the rest of the staff. If my insurance didn’t require me to use CVS I’d have left long ago. Hopefully they won’t run her off as they have with everyone else. She was very personable and helpful. Took 2 stars away because of previous experiences.

Like the other reviewers, I’ve had similar negative interactions with Matthew. He is passive aggressive and extremely rude. If I ever have to call I just hang up when he answers. And I pray that one of the women will be working when I have to pick up in person. I cannot believe this guy is still there! The female pharmacist is extremely nice and helpful. I even mentioned how rude Matthew was and the staff seemed to know already….

DO NOT CALL this pharmacy in the morning. I’ve called in meds for patients and the pharmacist who is in there is extremely rude. I wonder how is he still an employee after so many complaints. You are a pharmacist, do your job of helping patients/people. He literally told me calling in medications for a patient was a ‘waste of time’. A Complete Disservice to the public. UNACCEPTABLE ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!

Pharmacist was very rude on the phone. I'm just a mom trying to find my son's medication in stock somewhere.

The pharmacist, Matthew, seems to think that it’s okay to ask questions that are protected by privacy laws. Not acceptable. And apparently many others have written similar reviews about this pharmacist that I only read after posting my review. Since management won’t change the environment, soon, there will be nothing to manage because Matthew chases them, (the customers) all away!!

Need a prescription filled promptly because of a move. Staff was courteous and super helpful with options of how to get it when I needed it. I felt cared for and important. I recommend this pharmacy.
