I avoid going to the bank like one avoids becoming infected with COVID. However, for the first time since Oct 2019 I am traveling to visit my brother in NYC and need some 50s and 100s for those places that are cash only. Those who follow me other reviews know my affinity for a cash only steakhouse in Brooklyn and a pizza place in Little Italy. Go in to the BOA on Wednesday 9/29 morning shortly after 1030am. One teller working and the usual 3-4 other BOA employees milling around doing no discernible task. The one with the iPad asks what I need, I said cash, she said use the ATM outside. So I choose my dominations outside? I query. No you will get a mix of 20s and 100s. Well I need 50s and 100s. Oh, no that will not work. just wait. So after about 5 mins I ask no one else can get me cash? no. A person behind be has a 100 from the MAC (NE speak for ATM) and is able to exchange it for cash without out waiting. So I query, If I get cash from the MAC you can exchange the money without waiting? Yes So I do that, I return inside to 3 people ahead of me and I now need to wait again to get 50s & 100s because I was not given a domination choice at the MAC and have stack of 20s. What a $#%@ show!

What is with the bank being closed? I'm trying to do banking that requires a love person and the doors are locked. Tried two different days and times. FedEx said they've been closed since Friday and no word as to why or when they will open back up.

Worst customer service I've ever had. Not consistent with any of the other Bank of America's I have been to in regards to policies and procedures. They are short with answers. They have their routines clientele, if you are out of the norm, don't go to this location, you will wait a while.

Rude tellers. Smug and not very helpful. I will be shopping other banks. Made me feel like I was wasting their time when I asked them about my account information.
