“I bought a new iPhone 15 online from Verizon. This us a purchase where someone from Asurion comes out to your house to deliver and setup the new phone. As luck would have it, Verizon was having an outage when we attempted to activate the phone and it did not work.. I was told the phone would likely start working by the next morning.
Unfortunately, it was not working the next day so I decided to take it and the old iPhone to the Verizon/Cellular Sales Store in Ballwin. A sales associate Matt Karis enthusiastically tackled my problem. He quickly determined that my account was “hung” because of the attempted activation during the outage. Matt skillfully untangled the issue with Verizon tech support and got the account unhung.
Because it was an online purchase, it would have been valid for him to send me on my way to transfer the data between the old and new phones at home on my own. Instead, he demonstrated great customer service by volunteering to do the data transfer in the store where he could monitor it and address any subsequent issues if necessary. I was greatly relieved when he performed the nerve wracking procedure without any problems!
Matt also took the time to compile a list of current Verizon discounts and offers for me. Another associate Brian showed impressive depth of knowledge explaining some of the complex Verizon discount interdependencies.
I highly recommend this store and Matt and Brian in particular for their outstanding customer service and technical expertise. I greatly appreciated their positive spirit of helpfulness and care.”
