This shouldn't be a surprise of a review. I am commenting strictly on the service department, not the sales side of things.I recently took in my Atlas for a transmission fluid flush. It was due and, apparently, most of the regular garages can't perform this service, even at the specialty shop I went to.So off to the dealership I went and everyone knows the deal with dealerships. Be prepared to pay a LOT more for services and parts. The transmission was as expected. Several hundred dollars for everything. Fine.My issue came with a sensor problem on my vehicle. The rear sensors, those that indicate a vehicle in the blind spot, when there is cross traffic while backing up, the system that indicates when you're getting too close to an object while backing up.Now I know I don't know diddly squat about vehicles anymore with all the tech they have on them but I think I know enough to know when things aren't right.When I asked for them to check the sensors they gave me an estimate of....what was it, $150? $250? Something like that? I couldn't believe it. Again, I don't know sht about this high tech stuff but I would imagine what I was asking for was for them to hook up the car to a computer that would be able to spit out the issue with the sensors in a matter of minutes if that long. I would have been more apt to pay for the repairs than to pay the amount of money they were asking for a diagnostic.That just perpetuates the stigma that goes with getting work done at a dealership. It's just expensive for no reason. *I* think plugging in the car to run a diagnostic while it sat there getting a transmission flush (or whatever they call it) wouldn't have warranted the price of the diagnostic. I found it ridiculous. So my Atlas goes on without the sensors working until I can get the second mortgage on my house to pay for diagnostics and repairs.

Horrible experience!!! Had a car picked out at the Ballwin location and had financing approved through my bank. The finance guy came out and promised they could beat that rate if I financed in house. I agreed to a “soft hit” credit check to see if that was true. After an hour ,was told they couldn’t beat the rate. Woke up the next morning to 6 alerts through my credit management app that my credit had 6 “hard hits” on it. Not a good look for me or the dealership. Felt lied too, betrayed and that I was taken advantage of. Dean Team, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Lost a customer for life. Save yourself the hassle and go to Bommarito.. they know how treat customers and do solid business!

Never been here before but from the moment I pulled in the used car lot it was outstanding. Employee greeted us in the lot, ask who were here to see, which was Myles and got us right to him. Myles reminded me of that "buddy from church", just very pleasant to talk to and easy going. There was nothing high pressure about this sale. I made the comment that I am just plain, simple and very upfront, he said "good, me too". Sales process was pretty easy, sure there is a little negotiation back and forth, but it never felt frustrating. In fact, they gave me more for my 4 month old Toyota than the Toyota dealer that I bought it from was going to give me. Once we came to a price, financing was even easier, and Jason Moore was a hoot. He is a veteran "Thank you!", and was very quick and efficient at his job, had us in and out in no time. I can say that if you are looking for a car and the Dean Team has what you are looking for, you probably should be excited about working with this dealership, it was a great experience and I highly recommend. Thanks for the feedback opportunity. First of all, the drive-through service bay was open and ready for my car at exactly five minutes before my appointment time. The service representative, Paul, met me at the door, took my keys to collect info from the car and was back in the service desk area in less than a minute. We agreed on the services needed with a quick conversation and I left it all in his capable hands. I enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee and a granola bar while I read a few chapters of my e-book. Paul came into the waiting area once to quickly let me know how my service was progressing. I took a few minutes to watch a home rehab show on the big screen, admired the VW t-shirts available (I really like the powder blue T with the cursive “Volkswagen” in white, but wasn’t sure if it came in men’s sizes. I didn’t bother to ask, but next time I come in, I’m going to find out), and before I was ready to go back to my book, my car was ready to go. The service cost was exactly as the estimate prepared me for, and Paul answered my questions about an upcoming tire replacement. I am more than pleased with the timely, courteous service I received. I recently had the absolute best experience with Dean Team Volkswagen's service and parts department. Everyone was so kind from customer representatives, to the service team (Paul) and the parts department (Tyler), I felt truly heard and cared for in making sure my car needs were met in a timely manner. I will surely be returning to this location many times.

CJ was the only salesperson I contacted over the last 6 months who respected my wish that I did not want to talk over the phone but needed all communications to be done via email and/or text messaging. He was fantastic to work with when we met in person. I never felt pushed or rushed; he was there on the sideline, available when I needed to answer any questions we had. The overall purchase experience was not stressful, and exactly what we hoped for.

Overall, the service has always been pretty good. I'm pretty frustrated with cost of service for our last few oil changes. $127 for an ail change seems a little excessive. They have coupons available, but never suggest you use one. It's not like you would save much with their coupon, but it would be nice if they mentioned it and applied it to the high cost they charge. I like going to the dealer for service, but I'm seriously considering going elsewhere going forward.

The Dean Team of Ballwin is amazing. We were able to drop off our vehicle and they worked with our warranty seamlessly. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a service group to work on a VW go to Dean Team of Ballwin.

Excellent experience when purchasing a new 2022 Atlas. Having driven a Toyota for the last 20+ years, love the car, but miss Toyota service. We have been consistently disappointed in VW Dean Team Ballwin and the availability of service appointments. Currently, the air conditioner is not working (in a new car) and the earliest appointment to even look at it was two weeks out in Ballwin (where we purchased the car), some other area VW service appointments have no appointments available this month, finally found an appointment 45 minutes away for tomorrow morning.

We emailed the Dean Team in search of a specific model Jetta. We were quickly put in touch with Joe Wicks, who started hunting down exactly what we requested. At no time did he try to "Sell" us something that we didn't want - How Refreshing!! Even though we knew we might have to wait a bit, Joe kept us in mind & made it happen for us much sooner than later. This isn't our first Jetta - admittedly, we've walked away from other dealerships who didn't understand the assignment. The whole process was so smooth start to finish. THANK YOU!

Because my town's VW dealer only had about 7 vehicles, I drove 3 hours to deal with the Dean Team. They had the perfect Arteon available and held it for me to give me a chance to make the trip. I was worried to drive that far and end up with nothing if we couldn't make a deal, but they worked with me and I ended up with a great deal! I was very happy with the purchase price and the amount they gave me for my trade-in. It really was a hassle free experience.A special Thank You to Chris Robinson for working with me out of town and helping me every step of the way once I got there. I highly recommend him and the entire Dean Team!

Quick, asked and answered questions, didn’t perform a requested tire rotation because the best setup was the current one. I appreciated that call. Unexpected good atmosphere after several other dealers of different makes as I did service on my family’s fleet.

update: they replied to my review, asked to give them a call. I did call them, nobody picked up the phone, I left a voice with my phone number. still waiting for their call.This is only in regards to their service department. This is probably a management problem. But they don't stock tires, so if you need emergency tire change do not take your car here. You will have to wait 2-3 days for a simple tire change. In our case, we are from out of town and had to extend our hotel stay. On top of that, they do not give you a rental, nor do they give you a Lyft to pick up your car. Thank God for VW tire protection, otherwise we'd be out another couple of extra hundreds for the tire as well. They also forgot the cap for the tire valve.Oh and first ever time my car didn't get washed after service happened here.
