Pharmacy is too overworked. It takes 2 full days for any of my prescriptions to be filled

My family came to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and my family asked a few questions. The pharmacy manager was short with them and told them "I am just trying to get you out of here."
This pharmacy might be acceptable if you just need to pick something up and have no questions but if you might have a question I'd recommend using a different pharmacy.

I would highly recommend CVS for special needs. Place was clean & checkout was friendly.

On 2/26/2024, I Called CVS at 14400 Clayton Rd Ballwin .MO 63011 to make an appointment for an RSV vaccination prescribed by my physician. In response to a question, I told that the prescription was sent to a CVS pharmacy at Schnucks at Des Pres and a very nice helpful gentleman on the phone told me that he has has pulled the prescription from that pharmacy and gave me an appointment for the vaccination on 2/28/2024 at 4:30 PM . When I went to the Pharmacy at around 4:20 PM .I found the window marked "Vaccination" was boarded , so I went to next Window and waited there for at least 5 full minutes and when none of the several people working inside paid any attention to me , I told one lady that I have an appointment at 4: 30 PM for vaccination. I was immediately asked did I make telephone check-in . I told that I did not ( I was not told to do so) and that I am now here personally to check in . After I gave my name and birth date I was told that there was no record of my appointment there. When I told her that I was definitely given the appointment yesterday ( I spoke incorrectly as the appointment was given on 2/26/2024), her answer was " I did not work here yesterday". She then told me that she pulled my prescription from a CVS pharmacy from Ellisville to my surprise. In response ,I told her that there is some problem with the system here. Then another person, very nicely ,handed me a form with some appropriate question , to answer. To my surprise , I found my first name incorrectly typed and the prescribing physician's name was different ( from another town) and not my physician who originally prescribed the vaccination. I wanted to draw the attention of the pharmacy manager to these problems, but he from close proximity, seems to have eyed me several times and probably knew that something was not going right but kept on talking on the phone all along as it probably was very important. However, thereafter ,I got the vaccination promptly from another very nice lady.
As a whole , I think it is a manifestation of a very poor management on the part of a CVS pharmacy and a total lack of empathy and concern for its customers.
Unfortunately, in my view, this kind of service may be pervading throughout the entire health care system for which both the government and the people pay dearly and expect more.

Worse phone system ever!! No one answers and the automated system can’t understand what you’re saying.

My regular pharmacy was out of antibiotics and they transferred to this location. They saw I had a very upset baby and rushed to get it filled quickly.

Customer service and human decency in the pharmacy is TRASH. Never experienced such a piss poor attitude from pharmacists, its like they don’t want to be there.

I'm not sure why they have a phone number, no one ever answers. The pharmacy is either completely understaffed or incompetent. I'd rather have one CVS that is further away than 100 near me that are absolute garbage. Why not spread yourself even thinner and have one employee per 4 stores?

Told by a pharmacy employee no appointments were necessary to get a flu shot and when I should up I was told I needed an appointment and when I setup an appointment I received a text message this morning my appointment is canceled. What a joke.

Brian M is a pig-headed jerk. He is unprofessional, bias, and a TERRIBLE leader. He argues with his techs in front of customers. He is completely incapable of handling his responsibilities. He is easily aggitated, argumentative and lacks the capabilites to run a pharmacy floor. He is quick to blame those around him and takes no ownership of his mistakes. He needs proper training. Do not trust him or this location.

Pharmacy staff told me they were 6 days behind . The pharmacist will get to my prescription when they get time. My prescription has been there a few days . No text or anything saying they were 6 days behind. It just says in process when i checked online. I guess I don't need to take the medication my doctor prescribed. I guess we need to find a new Pharmacy asap !

was notified Rx's where ready yesterday at noon. Got to pharmacy 10:30 AM the NEXT day, drive through it was closed no signs in lane to tell you. got in linein the store, five people ahead of of me, only to find out Rx's won't be ready for 3 more minutes! VERY POOR, MIF YOU CAN CALLL IT SERVICE!

Pharmacy is a pure waste of time! I replied to the automated text that i still need my prescription over 10 days in advance. 1 day before my prescription ran out, the order goes to processing. Whats the point of telling you 10 days ago that i need it? I call the pharmacy, no one answers for over 15 minutes of hold time. It's like they don't want your business, don't bother them.

On hold for 1 hour, no exaggeration. I’m now going to try calling another CVS. My question required speaking with an actual pharmacist, so I expected to hold for a bit, but an hour?I picked up a prescription from there earlier today and the guy (not the pharmacist) behind the counter put the prescription bottle and receipt in the bag, then sort of tossed it onto the counter. I guess this was being cute or cool? He wasn’t being rude or aggressive, but I can’t help but think this somehow connects with me being on the phone for an hour. Just seems like we could be so much better.

Horrible. Waited in line inside for over 45 minutes. drive thru was closed and had been all day. Pharmacist was very rude. We are switching to mercy it’s much better service. This was after we waited five hours for the prescription to be filled, it was for breathing problems in toddler. Unacceptable. Also couldn’t get anyone on the phone waited 25 minutes on hold just to get basic questions answered.
