Just had Callier & Thompson renovate our kitchen and they were such a pleasure to work with! From the initial consultation, to helping pick out materials and make suggestions, to excellent communication throughout the entire process, they were professional and quick to respond, and made the whole experience run smoothly. Feels like a whole new house, incredibly happy with the results!

We recently completed our second project with Callier & Thompson, and we couldn't be more pleased with both experiences and the results. The original project consisted of a complete remodel of a full bathroom in our 1920's home, of which we enjoy today as much as when the remodel was done 13 years ago. The second project comprised of a two-story addition with completely remodeled and expanded kitchen and half bath on the first floor, and a new primary suite luxury bath, walk-in closet, laundry closet, and covered porch on the second floor. The job required coordination with the city architectural review board, an architect, engineer, and sub-contractors, all handled by Callier & Thompson in a professional and timely manner. We highly recommend this firm for their customer service, design capability, high quality products, and outstanding craftmanship. We look forward to working with them again! --David & Kristina

We were looking to upgrade our somewhat dated and average kitchen and knew about the well-respected Callier and Thompson name. After a discussion with a couple acquaintances who both had used them and had nothing but high praises, we knew we probably wouldn’t need to look elsewhere. and scheduled a showroom visit.Initially met with designer Christine O'Sullivan and had a tour of their extensive showroom and vast selection of cabinets, counters, sinks, tile, fixtures, accessories, and appliances. She listened to our goals, ideas and likes/dislikes, and took the time to explain their process and what to expect with the Callier and Thompson "experience". There was also an in-home visit, initial design with a budget analysis, additional meetings at the showroom and home, lots of selections and coordinating, and then a finalized design. They truly have a tried and tested procedure and everything is meticulously documented, monitored, accounted for and was accessible to us thru a project manager software app. No one else we ever worked with in the past for anything had this meticulous of a mindset when it comes to a project and practically nothing is left to chance. We have full documentation of all measurements, plans, cabinetry, accessories, appliances, warranties, maintenance info, etc. all in one neatly presented notebook for future reference.Christine's ideas, attentiveness to detail and her accessibility were second to none and we highly value our time working together. Last minute design changes and upgrades were handled graciously. She added tremendous value and insight to the whole experience and made the result so much more rewarding. We cannot say enough good things about her.It was also a pleasure to work with Greg Fleer, the lead carpenter. He did meticulous work, was very knowledgeable and took the time to share ideas and keep us posted on things. A great guy and real asset to Callier and Thompson.The quality, fit and finish of the custom walnut cabinetry and trim is superb. Well worth the wait. Everything from the counters to the tile to the wall plates to the extensive lighting just work very well together and we are so pleased with the quality workmanship and end result.The whole firm from the owners Bob and Carolyn, project manager Josh, Matt w appliances, the painters Phil, Amy and Andrea and everyone else on the staff were exceptionally detail orientated, friendly and took pride in their work. The subcontractors Callier and Thompson used were fully vetted and also did a great job. Everyone cleaned up every day and there were many precautions to protect and contain the work area. They also stand behind all their work and are available if the need would ever arise for anything down the road.Needless to say, as in real life, there will be some slight delays - scheduling of installations and services, possible supply issues, etc. Be prepared on making do without the use of the room while being remodeled for a few months. Brush up on your air fryer/microwave food ideas and carry out choices. Stock up on disposable tableware and get used to buying ice every couple days. There's typically a wait for the counters to be fabricated and city inspections to be performed. Consider these small sacrifices for a big payoff later.Overall, it was a very worthy experience with a fantastic end result and a great investment in our home, and we would easily do it all over again. The outlay for the project was not inexpensive, but that is only a concern if value is not perceived, and there is extreme high value received from working with Callier and Thompson. From our experience, we give nothing less than our highest recommendation.Services: Remodeling

I can’t even begin to explain the extent of our positive experience with Callier & Thompson. Jenny was our designer for the complete remodel of our primary bathroom. From our first meeting, she knew exactly what we were looking for, and took our ideas to create a perfect rendering, all of which was within our price range. She is beyond sweet, smart and talented. A company like CT is in high demand so it was a bit of a wait before the project kicked off, but it began on time and most importantly, there were no major delays in time line or changes in price, so rare in large remodels like this. Everyone associated with the project was professional, highly skilled, and extremely kind.C & T and their carpenter Greg (who is incredibly talented and also so friendly) went above and beyond to help remediate a minor issue with the project. We could not be happier with the result. A dark, dated, and dank bathroom became a spa like oasis that adds so much to our home, keeping in character with the 1930s style of our house. I would highly recommend Callier & Thompson for any design and remodel especially if Jenny is your designer and Greg is your carpenter.Services: Tile work installation

We recently had Callier & Thompson redesign our kitchen, dining room and laundry room. Christine was our designer. She was wonderful to work with. She listened to our wants and came up with a great design. Jeff was our lead installer who did a great job. We appreciated his attention to detail and making sure everything was done right. Everyone from the electricians, plumber, painters, tile installers and any workers who helped with the job were top notch! We recently moved back into our home after a 15 months. We rebuilt the entire house. Callier & Thompson supplied our appliances, bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets. Carolyn designed our kitchen, all of the vanities, plus a basement kitchen. Bobby K found the perfect appliances to meet our needs. And he worked hard to make sure we chose right and that everything worked well. I can say that in the course of this intense home rebuild we worked with many different companies. Something I read in Bob Strate's comment really defines our experience with his company. "Open and honest communication between all parties will be a major factor in how the remodel will go". I have not met Bob, but his team was the most honest and collaborative team we dealt with during this process. We had our owners bath remodeled by Callier & Thompson. We could not have had a better experience. Jenny did the design and Cole was our lead contractor. They were a literal dream team. We have done many projects in our house and none have come even close to the level of quality, professionalism, and communication. We will use them for every project going forward. Cole let us know what would be happening each day; what time and who would be coming to the house. He was impeccably clean and organized. They quoted the project as taking 12 weeks and that’s exactly how long it took. We are thrilled with the final product, a true spa bathroom in our own home. A dream. Thank you C&T!Service: Remodeling

Couldn’t think of any negatives as there were none. Project was completed on time with a degree of expertise not seen elsewhere. Construction crew was clean and very polite and made an effort to clean up each day after their work. Callier & Thompson installed an external venting range hood for us and did an awesome job. Their entire team was professional, kind, and helpful. Two things that really stood out to me were:(1) Early on in the process, I went into the showroom to look at options and even though it was a busy Monday morning and our project was relatively small, I was still given undivided attention and they let me take as much time as I needed and answered my extensive questions. This gave me the confidence that my selection was the right one both through their professional expertise and the fact that I never felt rushed or "sold" at all throughout the process.(2) Their staff that came out to do the install were top notch professionals. I've never met contractors who were so detailed, thorough, and ready to go above and beyond to get the job done right. They were great communicators, clearly experts in their line of work, and worked both methodically and in a timely manner.We have high standards around caring for our home and family, and we felt like Callier & Thompson met and exceeded everything we needed. We look forward to working with them in the future!

Just wanted to share how extremely grateful, happy and pleased we are with all of the Collier & Thompson staff that made my Kitchen & Laundry Room dreams come true! Especially Jenny, Josh, Cole, Bobby, Andrea, and a couple of painters just to name a few.If it wasn’t for Jenny, our personal designer, and our first point of contact with Collier & Thompson, I don’t know how I would have ever gotten my new dream kitchen as it is today…just absolutely amazing! Jenny has the highest qualities of professionalism, standards, patients and customer service. Her relationship building, follow through, and Always being there when needed were impeccable! I couldn’t have started the process without her. She was by our side every step of the way. And her pleasant & genuine personality are so appreciated. These qualities are hard to come by these days.Thanks to Bobby for helping us with all our Wolf appliances. He answered All my questions and guided us through all the many styles & functions. I got exactly what I needed.Thanks to Josh who was right there guiding me through all the underlining details of construction I never knew about. He explained it all to me. He was always available to answer my questions, very professional, and great customer service.Thanks to Cole for all his hard & beautiful carpentry+ work! Just to mention a few of the many things he did… The cabinets were installed to perfection. The crown molding & baseboards are just beautiful with all the intricate detail. He too had the qualities of professionalism, patience and answers to my many many questions. He always had his nose to the grindstone to keep the project moving along. I can’t even count the many things he coordinated, handled, crafted, and detailed with this project. And he always left the area picked up & clean which i greatly appreciated.All and all we are very happy & very pleased customers. I would not hesitate to use Collier & Thompson again with future projects. I will treasure my kitchen, laundry room, and master bathroom forever!! We would highly recommend Callier & Thompson. We spent considerable time searching for the right full-service design & build firm for our major kitchen remodel, which included taking several rooms down to the studs as well as removing and adding walls, and C&T delivered an absolutely beautiful kitchen!Our designer, Christine, was great to work with, listened to what we had in mind, and made it come to life far better than we could have dreamed. Josh, Mark and Scott led the construction crew and all were a joy to have in our home. C&T was exceptional at communication; we knew at all times what was happening. C&T's entire crew would respond to our communications (email, text or via app) nearly immediately.The most surprising aspect of this experience was simply how nice, kind, and professional the entire C&T crew was throughout the project. We really liked the people that work at C&T. We knew we did not want "just a guy" for this large, complex & expensive project, we wanted a professional, full-service, knows what they are doing and can deliver firm, and C&T delivered.Our complex project was completed on-time and on-budget.With any complex project issues are expected, and although only minor issues arose (100 year old home...), C&T quickly and graciously resolved them.C&T's focus on us as a customer was remarkable.
