This is the worst company we have ever had to deal with.. given the previous reviews we all feel about the same. They change policy without notifying their customers. Their prices are outrageous and unfortunately we are renting and we have to use them. They take full advantage of people who truly have no other choice other than them. Some advice for you MFA is maybe you should try notifying your clients of price changes and policy prior to them changing so those who have a budget for your outrageously priced propane don’t get screwed over when it comes time to out more propane in the tank. Changing the policy from being able to buy 100 gallons as a minimum to 200 gallons and that is costing your clients $500!!! Instead of $300! Might be helpful. People don’t budget for a $200 difference in prices! We deal with the Carthage location and they are completely terrible but unfortunately it looks as though everyone has the same experience everywhere this company is.

For over 6 months they were telling me I had a refund of about a $158. I decided to go in and get my refund. They said that it would take 4 to 8 weeks. I didn't like it but I said OK. 9 weeks later they said said I had a bill of a $119 and change. And now I don't have any credit. I do not recommend them because they are crooks.

The worst company ever. Rocky has done NOTHING to help us! Worst costumer service. Says there's a leak but won't help us find it or use a sniff test. Took our regulator so now our family has no heat or way to cook for Thanksgiving. Now we have to freeze and starve. Thanks a lot MFA oil, you gave the previous owners of our house gas since 1996 but because we're young and new owners they just want to royally screw us. Do NOT use this company! Worse than the government with screwing you over. I'll tell every single person I know and call the energy commission to report you.Update: didn't get the wonderful man's name but he helped us find the issue and got us good to go. Now we can have propane for thanksgiving and heat. Still giving 3 stars because of how unhelpful Rocky was and how he planned to just leave us high and dry. It shouldn't be this hard for help. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

we have called many times and after about 10 and messages left calls we finally get a call back! then proceed to call again that same day and no answer again! very horrible service. we can't even get a delivery day because my husband has to be present since his name is on the account! he works all day so tjat makes it difficult for a delivery. so we proceed to put my name on the account and have to fill out all the paperwork again only to be told that it will take days to process and then weeks to get a scheduled delivery! we have basically run out of propane and I have 4 small children. can't get heat in the house. thanks MFA for making us freeze. Oh and called again today to see if they would deliver because my husband will be home all day friday...guess what....no answer again! I wish we didn't have a rented tank and could use someone else!

We have had the best experience with Scott from West Fork, AR office. He has been very fast to respond and service has been dependable each and every time. He is the friendliest person and so helpful. We had an experience in the winter where our tank completely was out he delivered before we left to work and came back that evening to help my husband bleed the line to get us back up and running. All this while we where on high alert for bad weather. He has made our first experience with propane easy and fast this past year in a half.

When you order gas 7 days out and still can't get them to come and they laugh at you, that is poor customer service. People need gas during a snowstorm and subzero windchill temps.

Everything about MFA (emporia office) is horrible EXCEPT Jeanette and Tom. They were the only ones who were pleasant and nice to speak with. I have been disrespected and blown off TWICE by the same rude woman. I never got her name because when she continued to rattle on about how I’m an “irresponsible adult” I just kept saying I want your supervisor. She constantly interrupted me, said that she was too busy to complete my requests, that she wasn’t going to barter with me because I was willing to pay what Tom had quoted me over the weekend and not the additional $100 that she was adding on for whatever reason. I’ve been in customer service for utilities for years and if I ever said half of what she did I would lose my job in an instant! No the customer isn’t always right but you do NOT ever yell at them or ridicule them.
