I'm really confused by the negative reviews. I'm nobody special to these folks, but I've been doing business with them for 30 years plus and have never had anything but great experiences. Always pleasant, provide what is promised, etc. Great job folks. Thank you!

TLDR version: Quite possible, the worst customer service experience and the rudest staff (the two ladies I spoke with and a manager that wouldn't talk with me at all) I have ever had. Avoid. They don't care and apparently don't need my business.
Bought a house that MFA had a leased tank on premises. Previous owner stopped any further fills months before the sale. With a full tank, I did not pursue any sort of account with them on an immediate basis. I knew on the very least, that propane is cheapest in July/August time frame. I called after the sale to get some info and prices. I had not been a previous user of propane. Said they would send an info packet. (never received) One day, they filled the tank and left the receipt on the door. Charged to the previous owner. Tank was about 65% full. When I called about it, they said it was a mistake but I should settle up with the previous owner. Uh, no. I offered to pay the top off at the reduced previous summer price and they declined. (fill wasn't my fault and I wanted to wait for the summer cheaper rate) Said they would pump it back out. (never did). Both of the ladies whom I spoke with blamed errors on being new, although one admitted they had been there a year (sorry, after 90 days, you are no longer new). I was done. Decided to use the portion of propane I paid for in the initial sale of the house. I called about 90 days after the top off, and request a pick up date. Proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for the pickup and responsible for any remaining gas left as a pump out fee. When I explained the issue, she stated, "oh yeah, I remember your account. Why are you leaving again?"
I called CentralGas in Nixa. I explained my situation and stated I wanted to wait until MFA came out to get tank. Very understanding. After a week of waiting, I called MFA. Their excuse of not getting the tank yet was the tech's truck was in the shop. OK, when might it be done? Should be either today or tomorrow. OK, will you call me when the tech is ready, I want to be here when the tank is picked up and I need to coordinate the other company's install? Sure. Two weeks rolled by, no call, no show. I called again, "when will you be out?" Oh we have been backed up. Two days later, WITHOUT warning, they took the tank. I was left without a way to cook a decent meal and no hot water! Luckily CentralGas was able to accommodate my emergency. THEY came out the next day. THEY called 15 minutes before arrival. THEY called me the next day to make all was well and if I needed anything else. THEY provided the customer service that above and beyond what I consider to be normal.
This isn't a plug for CentralGas, but it should be. I will be writing a praise to their google reviews.

Dont use this company if you don't have to. We use the pre-buy and this year we added $775 to our account we had a total before that at 631.04 so the total was $1406.04 as of August 30 they filled our propane tank before we paid the $775 so the tank was full all summer. We do not use propane during the summer it is only winter months. I received a bill December 31, 2018 and they charged me $310.31 we never received a receipt at the door, a week later they charged us $146.17. I called them and asked them how this happened nobody can use 100 gallons of propane in a weeks time they said they would credit me the $310.31. January 2019 we received another bill and they put in $374.79 we received the receipt on our door so I'm not disputing that I called them when I receive that bill and ask them why they haven't credited me the $310.31 that they said they would because after the December bill.So in February I received another bill they did not put propane in before that bill but they still hadn't credit me the $310.31, I called them and ask them where is my credit now they are telling me that they are not crediting me. By the way the day that MFA said they delivered the propane that was $310.31 I was home all day and no truck ever showed up.
