“Try the biscuits and gravy ...awesome. the people are genuine and friendly. We travel by rv and stay there whenever we need to park the rv. They have been there a very long time and expect they will be there for a very long time after my visit.”

1687 S State Hwy N, Springfield“This place appeared in at the BEST POSSIBLE moment--had to shelter from a hailstorm for a while. What a welcome early morning clearly visible through the impassible conditions to guide me off the exit. On any trip though here, I will stop again--great location and service! There are more services available nearby and this is a well-run station.”
6AM - 9:45PM
1651 State Hwy K, Bois D'Arc“If you're looking for the classic truck stop portrayed in every movie this is it! The waitresses call you all the endearments, the plates are HEAPED with delicious food for a fair price, country music drifts out of the kitchen and the entire place is about twenty years behind the times. However as lacking as the decorations are, the food makes up for it in spades. Check out the book trading shelves in the restaurant, take a Crichton, leave a Clancy or whatever you prefer. There's plenty of parking in the back for trucks and RVs. Easy in and out for the fuel lines and the convenience stores are well stocked regardless of time of day you visit. For semi trucks it's FULL SERVICE! Yes you read that right the attendants fuel your truck and wash your windshield for you. There's a tire and small repair shop on site as well. Restrooms are clean and fair sized as well. There's a hotel on the grounds as well for autos and motorcycles or the driver that needs a night away from the truck.”
“Besides Truck Stops to the East and West, Right In the Middle at Halltown exit on I-44 you’ll find Top Tier Shell Fuel, a Large selection of Food items (Best Chili on or off I-44) Huge drink selection, tons of Snacks, clean restrooms, always fun casino games, it’s worth a stop!”
“Employees are always friendly and ALWAYS remember to ask if you want to use rewards. Very small town place where they know your name when you walk in and have your cigarettes ready, because they know the kind you smoke. Love that hospitality.”
