Image my surprise when I paid for the repair & Jeff added 3% ($96) surcharge for using a credit card which was NEVER mentioned in our 3 calls. His response was "How I was suppose to know you were using a credit card." I did not appreciate Jeff's attitude & if he is paying 3% on $3200 transactions, he needs to shop his credit card processing service.
To my knowledge, repair was completed timely & professionally. Hopefully, no more surprises.

As a businessman committed to supporting other businesses, I was disappointed with my experience at Transmission To Go. I had a family member in danger after they assured me my car was ready to drive.
Before I dropped off my vehicle, I discussed checking for issues. The next day, I left it with Jessie owner, who promised to call once he diagnosed the problem. Instead, I received a text asking me to call him. He informed me he had reset the automatic program without my permission and charged me $250 for it.
Jessie then mentioned a bad bearing hub, stating it wasn’t urgent but suggested it needed replacement soon, quoting $900. I deferred the repair and asked about an oil change, which he offered for an additional $65. My car ran fine until he changed the oil, and I suspect he used poor-quality oil.
I planned to pick up my car on September 5, 2024, but arrived at 8 AM, only to find they opened later. After waiting until Monday, September 7, I finally spoke with Jessie, who again assured me the car was good to go. However, just four miles into my drive, the car went into “check mode” and slowed down, putting my family in danger.
I tried calling Jessie five times without a response, realizing this experience reinforced my belief in taking vehicles to reputable shops. I feel I was robbed of $315, but I trust in karma and know to choose wisely in the future. Jessie’s assurance that the car was fine was a serious mistake.

I just want to give some recognition to this company! They really have 5 star workmanship hands down!!! Every time I called my question were answered. If I did not understand they helped me understand. They worked with my insurance/warranty company to help me save money. Thank you for you quick quality service! Very thankful and glad to give them my business, now and in the future. Definitely will recommend to others. Thank you Jeff and the rest of the team!

Transmissions To Go, is a wonderful business. The owners are always pleasant to work with and willing to talk you through your questions. They saved both my 6L80 and my Allison 1000. The turn around time on both was phenomenal and orderly, with a beyond competitive and fair price!

When I had my truck towed to transmissions to go the tow truck driver warned me that most vehicles he tows there end up getting towed there again. I should have listened. I had my transfer case rebuilt not two years ago and it's down again. My gf had trouble with her van about 3 years ago but I figured maybe it was the van. The list goes on and on. Do not take your vehicle to transmissions to go!

They said no warranty Its been 5k miles on the new trans and it feels horrible worse than before I brought it in and they rebuilt it with all the wrong parts. Then I get a call that says we messed up and put in the wrong clutches bring it back. so they waisted my time and gas and the transmission is worse than before it was brought in to be replaced. Don't waist your money here go somewhere else they suck and customer service sucks warranty sucks. Don't waist your time here

They lost my center caps on all 4 rims also carrage bolts found left loose when changing oil. Luckily front end didn't fall out. Today a mechanic said the rack and pinion was fixing to fall out due to shop not inspecting someone's work. The transmission thou still shifts solid at 240k miles so internal work was up to par.

Transmissions To Go is the best transmission shop in the St Louis Area. I have had two transmissions rebuilt at this shop and have absolutely no issues with either one since. Jeff and his entire team are friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. They have established a great reputation through out the South County area.
