My daughter attended here for a year. It was one of 3 daycare/preschools she attended before Kindergarten. They use the ipad a lot of checking in and out kids daily or updates to parents and to let kids watch videos on. I did not appreciate the amount of screen time or things my daughter watched and came home telling me about watching. I was paying for child care, not for Peppa Pig to babysit my daughter for an hour. I did not like that I was told, oh the kids just watch TV at the end of the day to wind down so the teachers can clean the rooms. The staff was friendly and nice. I really like the green space and outside time. They took the kids outside for some lessons too which was great. Just nix the screen time and ipad use around the kids and I'd give 5 stars.

Love, love, LOVE this daycare! I have always felt safe leaving my daughter in their care. The teachers are amazing & do so much for the kids & parents too! I cannot recommend them enough. My husband & I had originally chosen La Petite bc we had both gone there as kids ourselves, plus the fact that they have cameras was just an added bonus. At first it was nice to watch the cameras bc we wanted to make sure she was in good hands, & we all know how many daycares are in the news for bad things lately, so it gave us that extra assurance. However, after her being there for 2 years now I rarely watch her anymore, unless it’s just to cherish her enjoying time with her friends. I know she is in the best hands & will be treated just like family. My daughter loves all her teachers at La Petite & so do we!

At first, we were so hesitant of putting our son in any form of childcare . LaPetite made him feel so welcome. The teachers are kind, caring and patient, being able to see him through the video monitoring gives peace of mind. It’s been almost two years I am so thankful we chose LaPetite for our child’s care and education.

La Petite Academy has provided an exceptional daycare experience that exceeds all expectations. They have created a warm and welcoming environment where my child feels safe, loved, included and encouraged to explore and learn. I cannot express enough gratitude for the love and care my child receives at the daycare. The teachers and staff genuinely care about each child and want them to succeed. I highly recommend La Petite Academy to any parent seeking a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their child.

Both of our daughters have attended La Petite of Arnold since they were 3 months old, and overall, it's been a very positive experience. Our kids enjoy coming in, and they have a great relationship with their teachers. I can't imagine any daycare center being perfect... the chaos of many small children in one place. We toured a half dozen daycare options in our area, and even though this was by far the least convenient option based on proximity to home, it's ultimately what we chose, and we're happy that we did.

This establishment is licensed as "child care". Yet the person in charge calls me and asks me to pick up my child because she is concerned that she will open the front door and run out onto the street. Not sure about you other parents, but that is a huge red flag to me and the last straw (when you have double doors, why not use them for safety!? Even if unable to lock the door due to fire codes, there should at least be an alarm that sounds when opened). As I was unable to pick up my daughter being that I was in the hospital, I asked her grandmother to pick her up. When she arrived, they had my daughter sitting on the floor in front of the door while 2 teachers were sitting in the office with her. When grandma asked for her cup, she was told that she could get it when she picks up my other daughter. A previous incident, if I may, I get a call because my daughter is scared to get her diaper changed. "Could you come up here and change her diaper?" This is not a big deal to me as I am remote worker and am able to come up, I'd rather her be comfortable than scared. The last time the children eat is at 2:30 and this is a snack, children are not given permission to eat outside of the regularly scheduled mealtimes (not a huge deal, but just so you know). There are video cameras so parents can watch, not hear what is going on. This was pretty comforting to me, especially given the fact that I did not get a daily update and the teacher who had them most of the day was gone by the time I picked them up. If your child is at all on the spectrum, has any ADHD qualities, or is at risk of "not staying with their group" do not send them here, it is not an appropriately safe, comforting, or respectful place for them.

Went to drop my kid of and found out that they weren't open, at all, they never told us and I over heard some workers, talk about how they are suppose to work. So they can't even tell their employees when they work.

These people are baby raising geniuses. They care more about making sure your kid doesn’t die, eats healthy, learns kid songs and sign language, and has a day filled with joy every day than you probably care about your job. Their prices are higher because your kid is getting a better brain foundation or whatever than anywhere else in town. I took my son to 3 other day cares in Arnold/South County and felt weird about all of them. La Petite is so good that I beg the teachers to baby sit when I have to do stuff on the weekends and they always say yes and do it which is also dope. One day my one year old started communicating with me out of nowhere in sign language because of this place. I had no idea what he was saying because La Petite of Arnold made my kid smarter than me. My wife had to explain to me that my kid was getting rich people smart in day care. They have cameras that you can access whenever because duh. They take food allergies seriously because someone has to care about that nonsense. The people who run it are so nice that if you’re a weird helicopter parent who says weird stuff and cares about weird things they still won’t talk smack about you when you leave… or at least you won’t suspect they do. You’ll quickly stop being a weird helicopter parent because you will trust them to love your kid and do the right thing. If you don’t get your kid into La Petite Academy of Arnold then it will haunt you until he/she grows up.

La petite was a life saver for us! My son was diagnosed with type one diabetes. The daycare that he was at said they could not longer take care of him bc he was a "liability". We had friends that used la petite and told the director what happened to us. She not only got my son a spot but they went above and beyond to take care of his medical needs. Its so hard to send your son with medical needs anywhere but we were confident in the communication and care he had with every teacher. We experienced nothing but love and care from la petite from all the staff. The staff educated him not only on his abcs but his emotions and building friendships.

This is probably the worst daycare center in the area. It is basically a free roam play area with inexperienced babysitters watching kids. Director and assistant director are never available to speak with. Or will dodge you while walking around. The live video camera is the only way I knew what my son had going on during the day as he was left unattended by his 2 babysitters and was only acknowledged after messaging the center on their app.

Would not recommend this for anyone’s child . Safety is not their main concern . They are in survival mode and are understaffed and do not interact with the kids AT ALL . Communication with an injury was only found out because I happen to be watching the camera . You can only imagine what’s happening when you’re not watching ! RUN AWAY !

I seriously love this school so much! My daughter was at home with me for the first 10 months. I am a first time mom so the thought of daycare absolutely terrified me and being a mom you don’t really trust anyone but yourself with your child. But my cousin who worked there at the time told me to try them out . & I am so glad I did! This school is nothing short but amazing! In Kennahs first two weeks of going there . She learned so much! It was a total 360! They’re so hands on and loving to these little ones! I am so thankful to be apart of this school! They are always so responsive and helpful if you have any questions. Emily always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of! The teachers I cannot thank enough! They truly are the starting foundation of these children lives. As much of heart and soul these teachers put into these kiddos .. they deserve a raise and so much more! educators do not get enough credit for what they do. These teachers are not glorified babysitters. Babysitters aren’t with your children everyday. The learning group needs to take a step in the right direction and give these educators what they deserve. They deserve a raise and a bigger school. The more you invest in your work family the more the company can soar . And all you want is for these children to be able to fly. Thank you so much to all the amazing staff at La petite - Arnold! Thank you for loving my child as if she’s your own. Thank you for making it so much easier to take her school and not having to worry about her at school! I appreciate you all so much!!

As a former employee of La Petite Academy of 3 years I have learned the up and downs.. That I know every work environment has but unfortunately at the Arnold location the bad outweighs the good, and that caused me to find a better work environment. They truly do not care about their employees mental health which in childcare is super important as the teachers mood affects the children. They are really all about the money they bring in.. The current team lead is beyond rude to all employees and cares more about the latest gossip than the children. She hardly is ever smiling while in a classroom. She fakes it until she makes it when talking to a parent. Now do I think your child’s safety is a concern. No. But your child’s behaviors and learning skills will not improve at this daycare (again DAYCARE not a preschool) if they continue to run a business the way they do. Like I said they care more about gossip and money than anything else. They continue to keep kids who spit, hit, throw chairs, flip tables, curse out the teachers, hit other kids, run out of the building, etc. That only affects other children in negative ways. After months of trying to improve, but nothing helps because management does not care to help the child/teacher by communicating to parents or even during the aggressive behaviors. They basically tell you to deal with it or get angry when you ask for help (when that is literally apart of their job) causing your only focus to be on that troubled child instead of the other kids in your room. Not to mention the school is beyond dirty (health risk) even the bathrooms because most of the teachers refuse to clean them because “this isn’t apart of my job description” when in reality it is.. The toilets do not have a seal causing leaks that have been happening for the past 3 years of my employment. The bathroom floors are stained yellow from pee (even the ones that are cleaned every day) and the bathroom floors are peeling and baseboards are half way on the wall. The director has tried and tried to get things to improve her school but Learning Care Group as a whole is not the best company and again if it saves them money they rather not do it. I also wanted to add the good reviews on here are made simply because the director has offered the parents to be put in a drawling for a free week of tuition not because the parents feel this way.Taking covid precautions is a serious matter as the director is quick to put a child in quarantine if enrolled at our location but when a staff members child was exposed at their daycare and put into quarantine she allowed that child to come to our school with no hesitation. (So she could keep the mother on the schedule) We also have questions that are required at the door before the child enters, and unfortunately they are not being asked causing two children to have entered the building while waiting on tests results.. so if covid is a concern of yours I wouldn’t bring your kids here either.

My daughter was only in this daycare for maybe 4 or 5 months. The director was nice and responsive which was great. Her first teacher was very nice when she was in the 2s classroom. Then she got moved up a class and things went down hill quickly. She came home every day for a week straight in potty soaked clothing. Not only was she having accidents every day( which she never does at home) but also she was still wet when I picked her up which means no one noticed & who knows how long she was sitting in pee clothing. I mentioned it to the teacher and got a "we will offer her the bathroom more often response" but I watched the cameras and she was never went up to. When watching the cameras it was rare to see a teacher actually interacting with the kiddos, they were in and out of the "storage" closet looking at their phones more often than not. I have waited months to write this review because I put my child into a new daycare and wanted to see if she would have the same issues. She has not ever had an accident not even one time at the new daycare. Not only that but she is in such a better mood when I pick her up from school and actually has artwork/projects that she has completed. Its like shes a complete different child after school. La petite sold me on being a "STEM" school but I do not believe it is implemented very well at this location. There is not 1 single person to blame here but this school seams to be more about the money and amount of kids and less about teaching them. Just wanted to put this out there for other parents who are curious.
